Press Release CA09/2019 Kong Style Easter Eggs Adventure @ NP360 for a Local Easter Celebration Easter Egg Decorations Designed by Illustrator Mascot Greeting in Village Easter Egg Painting Workshop for an Extraordinary Easter Experience

(Hong Kong, 27 March 2019) is committed to providing guests with colourful travel experiences and promoting local culture by organising festive activities throughout the year. To celebrate Easter this year, the company will hold its Hong Kong Style Easter Eggs Adventure @ NP360 from 30 March to 28 April. Ngong Ping Village will be filled with elements of local culture as Hong Kong style Easter egg mascots perform and dance with guests. Painted Easter Egg Workshops will also create memorable experiences for children and their parents.

Joining hands with local illustrator to showcase Hong Kong culture Ngong Ping 360 has worked with Messy Desk1 (Jane Lee), an award-winning local illustrator, to create a giant Easter egg display. Combining elements of local culture, creativity and the Easter spirit, a 1.6-metre-high egg features a vivid and colourful depiction of Ngong Ping 360 cable cars along with significant landmarks and architecture from elsewhere in Hong Kong. Three 1-metre-high accompanying Easter eggs, surrounded by cute Easter bunnies, are covered with drawings of a lucky bun, a red-white-blue bag and a mask, representing Hong Kong’s unique culture. Over the Easter period, the eggs will be placed at the entrance of the Ngong Ping Village, offering a perfect spot for selfies as guests “check-in” for their adventure! Take a selfie and share the festive portraits on your social media platforms!

Hong Kong Style Easter Eggs Adventure @ NP360 with egg puffs, mahjong honour tiles and lucky buns To celebrate Easter energetically, the Hong Kong Style Easter Eggs Mascot Greeting will be held 3 times each day in Ngong Ping Village during the Adventure period. Hong Kong culture – a pinkish 3D lucky bun skirt representing the Bun Festival; a vibrant yellow dress featuring egg puffs, a favourite local snacks of Hong Kongers; and a playful dress replicating red, green and white dragon mahjong tiles, definitely a collective Hong Kong memory! And adding to the fun, the Hong Kong Style Easter Egg Adventure @ NP360 will also introduce guests to Hong Kong’s unique food and entertainment culture (please refer to Appendix 1 for the schedule).

Free Easter Egg Painting Workshop for Children In the free Easter Egg Painting Workshop, kids will design Easter eggs with their parents. This will be a chance for family fun and creativity amid the relaxing atmosphere of Ngong Ping Village (please refer to Appendix 1 for the schedule).
