TWILIGHT 2000 Twilight 2000 is a Role playing game set in a fictional future, one where World war 3 began in the late 1990's and eventually slipped into a nuclear exchange changing society as we know it. The players assume the roles of survivors trying to live through the aftermath of the war. Twilight 2000 was published in the mid 1980's by Game Designers Workshop who unfortunately closed their doors in the early 1990's. The copyright was purchased by Tantalus, Inc but there are no stated plans to revive the game. Despite the lack of any new material from a publisher the game continues to expand through the players on websites such as this. This is my contribution to the game, this site will be in a constant state of change, I plan to add material as I get it finished. This will include new equipment, optional rules, alternate game backgrounds and other material as it accumulates, currently I am working on source material for a World war 2 background, but I also have been completing some optional rules of my own as well as modern equipment. Deep Web Secret Deep Web Secret Automatic Pistols These weapons use Guns(Pistol)/TL7 skill. AMT Automag .44 AutoMag (Holdout -2) AMT Original Automag: A large single action semi automatic weapon, this is the original Automag by Harry Sanford. When it was introduced in the seventies this was the first pistol to fire high powered magnum cartridges. Clint Eastwood takes a break from his .44 Magnum to use the .44 Automag in one of his Dirty Harry films. It has been out of production for close to two decades now, but after Harry Sanford died in early 1999 the AMT factory was sold off, and the new owners decided to run a limited series of original Automags in the .44 AMP caliber. These guns will be exact copies of the original guns. This may also mean that they will only function properly with full powered loads, and that some parts (most notably the extractor) will be somewhat fragile. Most likely these guns will seldom be fired anyway, as they are instant collectors items due to their reputation and their flashy, sleek and slightly futuristic looks. Should these guns be used they will look very intimidating and at the same time classy, combined with a lot of recoil... The Automag is a recoil operated pistol, is made entirely of stainless steel, and these new guns are of excellent quality, unlike some of the last pistols made in the seventies. They are very accurate. The magazine holds seven rounds of .44 AMP ammo. AMT Automag III (Holdout -2) A large single action semi automatic weapon, this is the brainchild of Harry Sanford, creator of the original automag.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF TEXAS ══════════ No. 19-0497 ══════════ IN RE ACADEMY, LTD. D/B/A ACADEMY SPORTS + OUTDOORS, RELATOR ══════════════════════════════════════════ ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS ══════════════════════════════════════════ Argued October 6, 2020 JUSTICE LEHRMANN delivered the opinion of the Court, in which CHIEF JUSTICE HECHT, JUSTICE DEVINE, JUSTICE BLACKLOCK, JUSTICE BUSBY, JUSTICE BLAND, and JUSTICE HUDDLE joined. JUSTICE BOYD filed a concurring opinion. This case arises out of the 2017 Sutherland Springs church shooting. Plaintiffs, who include victims of the shooting and their families, filed multiple suits against the retailer from which the perpetrator purchased the weapon used in the shooting. The retailer, Academy Sports + Outdoors (Academy),1 sought to avail itself of the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), which Congress passed to protect firearm retailers and manufacturers from certain lawsuits seeking damages arising out of the criminal conduct of third parties. Academy moved for summary judgment under the PLCAA, but the trial court denied the motion. After unsuccessfully seeking mandamus relief in the court of appeals, Academy filed a 1 The named defendant in the suits is Academy, Ltd. d/b/a Academy Sports + Outdoors. petition for writ of mandamus in this Court, arguing that the PLCAA requires dismissal of the underlying suits and that Academy lacks an adequate remedy by appeal. We hold that the PLCAA bars the lawsuits and protects Academy from continued participation in litigation. Accordingly, we conditionally grant Academy’s petition for writ of mandamus. I. Background On November 5, 2017, Devin Kelley entered First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs wielding a Model 8500 Ruger AR-556 semi-automatic rifle fitted with a detachable thirty-round magazine.2 He killed twenty-six people and injured twenty more.

  • Freedom Group's Militarized Marketing
Freedom Group’s Militarized Marketing Freedom Group, one of the largest gun manufacturers in the world, specializes in assault rifles and other military-style firearms. The company made the Bushmaster XM-15 assault rifle used at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Here is how Freedom Group sells and markets these weapons. To attract customers, Bushmaster uses the slogan “Justice for All’’ on its catalog cover and images of shooters clad in military-style clothing. Their graphics often contain militaristic and law-enforcement terminology like “duty” and “patrol” and feature phrases such as “Control Your Destiny” and “Bravery on Duty.” 2 3 Another Freedom Group product — a Remington 870 shotgun — was used in the September 2013 Navy Yard shooting in Washington, D.C. Remington describes the firearm as a “tactical” shotgun, and claims that “When you’re in the most demanding environments and every second counts, Remington’s tactical shotguns give you the confidence and firepower to get the job done.” 4 DPMS/Panther Arms is another brand of assault rifle manufactured by Freedom Group. DPMS describes its assault rifles as “Built to be as Tough as the Mission Ahead,” never defining what that “mission” might be. 5 6 And they use “killin’ zombies” as a means to promote their assault rifles. 7 Freedom Group also owns Advanced Armament Corp., a manufacturer of silencers. Advanced Armament uses skull and crossbones imagery to market its products. The firearms industry is pushing to deregulate the manufacture and sale of silencers in the hope of increasing sales. 8 Background: Freedom Group’s Militarized Marketing In the wake of declining household gun ownership,1 it is no secret that the gun industry has focused on semiautomatic military‐style assault weapons, most notably AR‐15‐type rifles, in its marketing and sales efforts.

COOKE, Sheriff of Weld County, Colorado, et al., Plaintiffs, v. JOHN W. HICKENLOOPER in his official capacity as Governor of the State of Colorado, Defendant. GOVERNOR’S BRIEF IN OPPOSITION TO PLAINTIFFS’ MOTION FOR TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER AND PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION [DOCS. 29 AND 37] Defendant, Governor John W. Hickenlooper, by and through undersigned counsel, responds as follows to Plaintiffs’ motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction. INTRODUCTION During the 2013 legislative session the Colorado General Assembly adopted several firearms regulation measures, two of which—a limitation on the capacity of certain magazines (House Bill 13-1224) and an expansion of the background check requirement for firearms purchases (House Bill 13-1229)—are the subject of this lawsuit. Plaintiffs, a confederation of county sheriffs, firearms dealers, gun owners and others, filed suit against the Governor, asking this Court to declare both provisions unconstitutional and enjoin their enforcement. 1 Case 1:13-cv-01300-MSK-MJW Document 40 Filed 06/24/13 USDC Colorado Page 2 of 39 Plaintiffs filed the instant motion less than three weeks before the legislation’s effective date of July 1, 2013, seeking a preliminary injunction and a temporary restraining order against the enforcement of three provisions in the large-capacity magazine bill. They supplemented their motion on June 20, 2013. Plaintiffs’ motion is somewhat narrower than the relief sought in the First Amended Complaint.
