Itinerary: Day 1 Wed June 03: Flight to Island of Maui Embark on your flight to Paradise today! On arrival you’ll be transferred to your hotel the Sheraton Maui- fancy but casual, located on 23 lush oceanfront acres on legendary Ka’anapali Beach. Sheraton Maui features a 142-yard lagoon style pool, fresh island cuisine and learn about the indigenous Hawaiian cultural activities. At sunset, the resort showcases its iconic cli dive ceremony, a tradition since the resort first opened in 1963. In 1778, Captain James Cook arrived in “Mowee” ending the idyllic life of the Polynesian natives. In Cook’s wake came traders, missionaries and whalers. At the height of the whaling era (1840 to 1865), Lahaina Town served as the anchorage for more than 500 ships!

Check-in and settle into your room. Relax or explore the hotel’s amenities until dinner time. Day 2 Thur June 04: Day at Leisure, Evening ~ Sunset Cocktail Sail After breakfast, ask your tour leader for suggestions for your day of leisure at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. Start by stretching out on Ka’anapali Beach, rated one of the best beaches ON EARTH by Conde’ Nast magazine! Try a hula lesson...or how about a ukulele lesson? Afraid to jump off the world-famous “Black Rock” cliff? It’s just as fun to watch the kids do it! But there’s also fantastic snorkeling along its base - like swimming in the world’s best tropical fish tank - sea turtles and all!

Late this afternoon, it’s fun and relaxation time as our smooth catamaran sails into the setting sun. Enjoy trade wind sailing with phenomenal views of West Maui, Molokai and Lanai. Day 7 Fri June 12: KAUAI- AM: Waimea Canyon, Spouting Horn and Koloa Coffee Estates Tour PM: At leisure Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At 8:30AM meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby. This morning you’ll visit Waimea Canyon, also known as “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” Its vast views and imposing stature share similarities with its mainland cousin, but this canyon has a personality of its own. A day of unsurpassed beauty! Afterwards, you will enjoy a quick visit to Kauai Coffee’s Koloa Estate. The largest coffee farm in the U.S., Kauai’s 3,100 acre coffee plantation is home to four million coffee trees. At about 1:00 pm you will return to the hotel. Later this morning, you will embark on a truly unique & memorable adventure experience for everyone! This excursion includes an exclusive access to the historic irrigation system of the former Lihue Plantation. This ditch and tunnel system that once irrigated vast sugar crops had been unused since sugar was taken out of production in 2000. In January 2003, Kauai Backcountry opened a section for exclusive tubing tours. This water system runs through some of the most beautiful and remote land on the island. It includes spectacular views of the mountains and Waialeale Crater.

The waters which originate near the top of Mount Waialeale, one of the wettest spots in the world, are channeled through ditches and tunnels hand-dug by plantation workers over a century ago!

The Mountain Tubing Adventure is perfect for all and in generally good physical condition.
