Stadium MK is delighted to welcome Liverpool FC to Milton Keynes for the Carabao Cup Third Round fixture on Wednesday 25 September 2019.

The aim of this guide is to provide visitors with the information needed to plan their journey and detail the additional traffic management measures that will be in place in order to allow visitors to access the stadium as safely and quickly as possible.

In view of the capacity attendance, we would ask all visitors to plan their journey in advance and leave as much time as possible on the evening for their arrival.

The following information and attached map should assist in providing information on the various methods of travel to the game.

Travel Methods

By Train

Milton Keynes is serviced by two railway stations: Milton Keynes Central and . Services operated by Virgin (http://www.virgintrains.co.uk) and Northwester Railway (http://www.londonwesternrailway.com) operate into Milton Keynes Central, and London Midland only into Bletchley. Please ensure that you consult the timetable to confirm the time of the trains for return travel and allow sufficient to reach the station. Services from/to London Euston run every 10 minutes.

Milton Keynes Central Railway Station is included on the route of the Match Day Shuttle Service to the stadium. This service will commence at 16:30hrs and the return journey from the stadium will operate from 21:30hrs until two hours after final whistle. By Match Day Shuttle Bus

A Match Day Shuttle Service will operate specifically for this game between Central Milton Keynes and the stadium, starting from the Bus Stop on Elder Gate (postcode MK9 1BE). The return fare is £6 plus booking fee. Tickets can be pre purchased online via www.parkthecarhere.com/mkdons or on the night from the ticket booth signposted near the bus stop. Please note that no tickets will be sold on the buses themselves.

This will be a rolling service commencing at 16:30hrs, with the last bus leaving Elder Gate at 19:30hrs. The return journey will operate from Grafton Street/DW Sport Fitness bus stop from 21:00hrs. The last bus will leave two hours after final whistle. The service will be operated on behalf of the stadium by Country Lion.

There is ample parking provision in the public car parks around the pick-up points at Milton Keynes Central Railway Station. Parking charges vary, so please ensure you check car park signage when parking.

By Car

Stadium Parking

On site parking has now sold out. If you have purchased parking, you will be directed to use the Saxon Street entrance and the best postcode for this entry is MK1 1ET. Your registration plate will be scanned on entry to the car park, but we would advise that you have your e-ticket available, either printed or on a smart phone, in case of any issues. Seasonal permits are valid for this game and we would ask that you use the designated entry route into the stadium for your individual car park.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT THE POINT OF ENTRY TO THE STADIUM SITE.

Off site car parking is available as indicated in the section below.

Exiting Arrangements

ALL DRIVERS ARE ADVISED TO EXPECT DELAYS ON EXIT AS PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO PEDESTRIANS LEAVING THE STADIUM AFTER THE GAME.

CARS WILL BE HELD IN THE CAR PARK FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF 15 MINUTES UNTIL PEDESTRIANS HAVE CLEARED. THIS MEASURE WILL BE TAKEN FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL VISITORS AND YOUR PATIENCE WILL BE APPRECIATED.

All visitors entering the site should accept this as a condition of entry.

Off Site Parking

Park & Walk

Park & Walk car parks will operate from Bond Estates on Mount Farm and Fenny Lock Distribution Centre off Bond Avenue, with spaces available to book in advance online at £9 at www.parkthecarhere.com/mkdons. A booking fee of £1 will also be applied to cover bank charges and processing. You will be prompted to include your vehicle registration which will be scanned on entry to the car parks to speed entry. We would advise that you have your e-ticket available, either printed or on a smart phone, in case of any issues. These official sites will be manned throughout the event.

Independent Park & Walk Car Parks

Independent car parks are operated at the Islamic Centre at Granby and Castle House on Dawson Road. Please note that these car parks are privately operated and manned and, as such, the Stadium can accept no responsibility for the use of these sites.

Central Milton Keynes Public Car Parks

There is ample parking provision in the public car parks around the Central Milton Keynes Railway Station which is serviced by the Match Day Shuttle Service, pick-up point at Elder Gate (postcode MK9 1LR). Parking charges vary, so please ensure you check car park signage when parking.

As detailed above, the Match Day Shuttle Service will operate from 16:30hrs and travel directly to the stadium. The return journey will operate from Grafton Street/DW Fitness First bus stop from 21:00hrs. The return journey costs £6 plus booking fee and tickets can be pre purchased online via www.parkthecarhere.com/mkdons or on the night from the ticket booth signposted near the bus stop at Elder Gate. Please note that no tickets will be sold on the buses themselves. Tickets will also be available to purchase from the ticket booth at Stadium MK opposite Gate 7.

Local Industrial Parking

A limited amount of on-street parking is available in the local industrial areas around the stadium site. Visitors are requested to park legally and considerately and respect our neighbours by not causing disruption to their homes or businesses. Please note that Parking Enforcement will be in operation.

Visitors should not park in the surrounding residential areas where parking is limited and restricted for residents use.

Site Retailers

Parking on the MK1 Shopping Park, DW Sports Fitness, and IKEA sites are restricted for customers only. Traffic management and Parking Enforcement will be in operation.

By Drop Off / Pick Up

Drop-Off Points are located adjacent to Gate 6 accessed via Grafton Street and adjacent to Gate 4 accessed via the Saxon Street entrance. Please follow signage and steward directions to the Drop-Off Zone. No dropping off is allowed within the road network for any reason.

Pick up after the game will be at the Gate 6 pick up point with access via Grafton Street only. Please follow signage and steward directions. You are advised to arrive before the end of the game as site Road Closures will be in operation.

By Taxi

A dedicated Hackney Carriage point will be operated on site at Gate 7 / opposite DW Fitness First, although we cannot guarantee the number of vehicles that will be available after the event as they are independently operated.

A large number of Private Hire companies operate in Milton Keynes and must be pre-booked. Such vehicles will be directed to the Drop-Off Point and Pick-Up Point respectively before and after the game opposite DW Fitness First.

By Bike

Bicycle parking facilities are available upon the stadium footprint located at Gate 1 and Gate 5.

By Foot

The stadium is accessible via the Milton Keynes Redway network via Grafton Street (V6) and Saxon Street (V7). For your own safety, please keep to footpaths and underpasses.
