To search for a specific term use the Ctrl + F keys, then enter the term you are interested in. The Call Number will help you locate the item on the shelves in the library. How do we check out? We are using a sign-out system for check out. Use the check-out sheet on the clipboard in the library. Write down your name and barcode numbers (not the spine label numbers) of items and use the posted calendar to give yourself a 4-week due date. Fill out a reminder bookmark with your due date to take with you. How many items can I check out? Since we have a small library, please have no more than 5 items checked out to yourself at any one time. Can I renew an item? There is a limit of one renewal, for an additional 4 weeks, to allow others have a chance to check it out. On the check out clipboard write in the new due date in the renewal column. How do I check items in? Put your returns in the black basket on the check out desk in the library. The librarian will check it in and reshelve. How do I find a certain subject? Our library uses the Dewey Decimal System for subject categories. If you are familiar with this system for finding your favorite subjects in a public library, look for those same number here. In our library most of our materials will be in the 200s, the religion section.
