The plot introduces Laura's clone sisters, the youngest of which, Gabbyend up becoming her companion during their adventures. The series has been well received. The character Laura Kinney becomes the new Wolverine in the series, succeeding her father Logan[5] with a new costume resembling the original Wolverine's. Laura tries to stop an assassination All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters in Paris and discovers the killer is a clone of her that is unable to feel pain. Robert Chandler Director of Genetics explains that the sisters have had advanced security training, but have not developed claws or a healing factor or a conscience like Laura, and they are out for revenge. She agrees to find them but only to protect the innocent. Returning to her apartment in the Bronx Laura finds the younger clone Gabby has come to ask for her help. Gabby has set a small fire in the bedroom and uses the distraction to leave. With some difficulty Laura is able to track Gabby and finds the others hiding out in the sewers. The white haired clone Bellonna shoots Laura before she has a chance to talk. When she awakens Laura realizes that somehow the Allchemax soldiers have also tracked them down. The sisters are out for revenge but Laura insists on no killing, and subdues all the soldiers non-lethally. Out of nowhere the sisters are all shot, and The Taskmaster appears. She is surprised to All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters the sisters are not dead, thanks to All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters body armor they were wearing. Bellona wants to kill Taskmaster so he cannot follow them but Laura argues against killing, but Zelda shoots him in the kneecaps instead. They escape but again the Allchemax soldiers attack in an explosive car chase, and Laura realizes she has been implanted with a tracker and cuts it out. Laura battles the soldiers giving the sisters time to escape. Laura eventually finds the sisters again, but Zelda is dying because something Allchemax has done is slowly killing them. In need of help but unable to contact her friends because Allchemax is watching Laura turns to Doctor Strange for help. Bellona accidentally unleashes a mystical monster they must fight. Fuck you and stop pandering, please. Yes, please! I'd like some more of that! What I dislike is the gimmicky way some of it is being done. To me, and this is only my personal feelings on the matterwhen they replace a beloved male charter with a female one, it's like they're saying this to readers: Hey, we understand that you'd never read a book about a chick hero under normal circumstances! I mean that's just silly, amirite?! Then they All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters pat themselves on All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters back and bask in the glow of their smugness. Meanwhile, the internet lights up with all kinds of angry fans, everyone fights about stupidity, and the comic book community looks like dumbasses. She's one of my favorite characters, and I'd read just about anything with her in it, no matter how stupid the premise. Second, Tom Taylor wrote this, and I'd read a book on inchworm assholes if he were the author. So the gist is that Laura's clones the clone has clones, baby! Unfortunately, her clones are sorta sassy and don't want to do things the peaceful way. Due to some spoilery stuff, she ends up seeking help from Doctor Strange, and bonus! Not finding the help she needs, the group ends up at Wasp's Team-up with Wasp! Some of the plot may seem regurgitated to pickier readers, but I thought it was a fun volume If you like me were having a hard time imagining anyone else taking up Wolverine's mantle, give this a shot. I've always quite liked Laura but wouldn't have picked her out as a particular All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters before now. Over the course of this book, however, I have totally fallen in love with her and she now stands proudly alongside Sam Alexander, Miles Morales and Kamala Khan as my 'new school' homies. I'm old and embarrassing. Deal with it. While there was nothing groundbreaking in this book, reading it gave me the same feeling I used to when I read supe I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. Yet another character wiped out by Marvel's diversity train. How about you just create some new characters that aren't white men, instead of just bumping all the old ones off, Marvel. But in this case, the story was actually good. Tom Taylor is great at characterization and he continues that trait here. X decides to take on the Wolverine mantle. Laura discovers Alchemax has created clones of her. They have escaped and are taking it out on Alchemax before they die. I love that even though this is a pretty dark story, Taylor still finds time for humor and quirky characters. David Lopez's art is always solid. All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters all, it's what Wolverine does. It's fun and action packed and drawn accordingly. The characters plight is well developed if familiar. A reccomended read for any wolverine franchise fans. Laura really is the best choice to fill Logan's shoes. I think this book strikes a great tone and helps set Laura All-New Wolverine Vol. 1: The Four Sisters on bright future in this book.
