The past two years have been a wonderful time for our program and for our alumni, several of whom have done very well in national and international competitions and a third who is serving two terms as president of the American Guild of Organists. We are fortunate to have had many great students at KU over the years who have gone on to distinguished careers and are serving our profession each in their own unique way. We celebrate the accomplishments of all our alumni and hope that you will stay in touch and let us know about what you are doing each year. Finally, it has been a time of exciting programs and growth at KU and we look forward to more of the same in the coming year. Read about the many activities that have gone on the past two years and find out what we are planning for this year. A special focus of this year is our celebration of Jim Higdon’s thirty-year teaching career at KU on March 4-5, 2011.
