FY 2015 Recreational Grant Awards by County

Ada County- $ 63,171.00  City of Kuna will receive $63,171 from the Recreational Trail Program Fund for the greenbelt extension in Kuna.

Adams County- $ 357,791.00  will receive $66,784 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for four restrooms, signs, and barrier rocks at Big Bar Campground.  Adams County will receive $120,922 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for campground development at Wye Trailhead Campground.  Friends of Weiser River Trail will receive $26,795 from the Recreational Trail Program Fund for construction & repairs at Weiser River Trail.  Friends of Weiser River Trail will receive $90,900.00 from the Recreational Trail Program Fund for the trail reconstruction at the Weiser River Trail at Tamarack.  Adams County will received $16,040 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the repair of the launch ramp & dock at Lost Reservoir.  Payette National Forest will receive $36,350 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the dock replacement at Big Bar.

Bannock County- $ 181,015.00  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $10,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for campground reconstruction at Scout Mountain.  Bannock County Search & Rescue will receive $10,340 from the Motor Bike Fund for search & rescue equipment countywide.  Pocatello Cross Country Ski Foundation will receive $640 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for a chainsaw & trimmer for use in Pocatello.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $128,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trailhead relocation at Gibson Jack Trailhead.  City of Pocatello Parks & Recreation will receive $13,335 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for CCMA beginner loop & ATV loop at City Creek Management Area.  City of Pocatello Parks & Recreation will receive $18,700 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for Nordic trail improvement at Mink Creek Road.

Bear Lake County- $ 16,500.00  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $16,500 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail, stream channel, and bridge at Co-op Creek.

Blaine County- $ 217,466.00  Sawtooth will receive $41,900 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for trail reconstruction at Mule Creek Trail.  Sawtooth National Forest will receive $124,592 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail reconstruction at Beaver Creek.  Boise Chapter Back Country Horsemen of will receive $4,974 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for drainage, hitching rails, & corrals at Tin Cup Horse Camp.  Blaine County Recreation District will receive $46,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for eighteen bridges in the Galena area.

Bonner County- $ 50,000.00  Bonner County Water Ways Department will receive $50,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund to replace existing dock systems at Bonner Park West.

Bonneville County- $ 453,711.49  Bonneville County Parks & Recreation will receive $5,087.49 from the Recreational Vehicle Program Fund for a Polaris Ranger 4x4 UTV at Juniper Campground.  Bonneville County Parks & Recreation will receive $44,687 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for a backhoe at Juniper Campground.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $9,500 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund to re-route roads at Calamity Campground.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $258,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund to replace the access road at Riverside Campground.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $9,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for two bog bridges at Nelson/Black Trail.  Bonneville County Parks & Recreation will receive $47,437 from the Recreational Trail Program Fund for a tracked skid steer for use on trails countywide.  Bonneville County will received $50,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a patrol boat & trailer to be used countywide.  Bonneville County Parks & Recreation will receive $30,000 for destination docks at Ririe/Palisades Reservoir.

Boundary County- $ 309,304.00  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $44,500 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund to repair six campgrounds at Purcell Loop.  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $26,530 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for the trail reconstruction at White Mountain Trail.  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $44,880 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the trail reconstruction at West Fork Mountain Trail.  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $38,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund to reconstruct the Ruby Trail.  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $78,074 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund to replace the puncheon at Upper Priest River Trail.  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $42,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund to reconstruct the Danquist Trail.  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $35,320 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail reconstruction at Keno Creek Trail.

Camas County- $ 14,000.00  Sawtooth National Forest will receive $14,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for signage at Fairfield Ranger District.

Canyon County- $ 101,196.00  City of Middleton will receive $101,196 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail construction & signs in Middleton.

Caribou County- $ 41,600.00  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $41,600 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund to improve trails, bridges, and fences at Stump Peak.

Cassia County- $ 654,686.00  City of Burley will receive $23,517 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for docks at Bedke Marina.  Sawtooth National Forest will receive $377,480 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for campground improvements at Thompson Flat.  City of Burley will receive $253,689 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for the development of campgrounds and restrooms at Bedke Marina.

Clearwater County- $ 37,435  Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office will receive $37,435 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the marine building addition near Orofino, Idaho.

Custer County- $ 150,000  Sawtooth National Forest will receive $150,000 from the Road & Bridge Fund for road construction at .

Elmore County- $ 220,909.00  will receive $66,300 from the Waterways Improvement Fund to construct docks & anchor systems at Creek-Anderson Ranch.  Boise National Forest will receive $66,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund to repair the boat ramps at Elk Creek-Anderson Ranch.  City of Mountain Home will receive $46,609 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund to develop the Desert Canyon Trail.  Sawtooth National Forest will receive $42,000 from the Recreation Trails Program Fund to conduct heavy trail maintenance in the Fairfield Ranger District.

Franklin County- $ 5,200.00  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $5,200 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail reconstruction at Litz Basin Trail.

Fremont County- $ 351,913.00  Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation - Henry’s Lake will receive $120,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for a restroom, shower upgrade, & chip seal at Henry’s Lake State Park.  BLM – Idaho Falls will receive $69,790 from Recreational Vehicle Fund for campground shelters at Egin Lakes.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $23,876 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for campground renovation at Riverside Campground.  BLM – Idaho Falls will receive $62,272 from Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for storage & a public outreach building at Egin Lakes.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $4,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for a snowmobile at Ashton/Island Park.  Fremont County Parks & Recreation will receive $6,975 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for a groomer trailer to be used countywide.  Fremont County Parks & Recreation will receive $10,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for docks at Mill Creek.  Fremont County Parks & Recreation will receive $10,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for docks at Henry’s Fork.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $45,000 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the boat ramp replacement at Island Park Reservoir, West End.

Idaho County- $ 70,519.00  Nez Perce – Clearwater National Forest will receive $23,525 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for trail restoration at Yakima Mine Trail.  Payette National Forest will receive $20,327 from Recreational Trails Program Fund for re-routing Bear Pete Trail.  Hells Canyon National Recreation Area will receive $26,667 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail maintenance at Black Lake Trailhead.

Jefferson County - $ 96,678.65  Jefferson County will receive $96,678.65 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for campground improvements at Jefferson County Lake.

Jerome County- $ 54,478.00  Jerome County Sheriff’s Office will receive $54,478 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a search & rescue patrol boat to be used countywide.

Kootenai County- $ 51,941.00  Kootenai County will receive $5,258 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for a law enforcement snowmobile to be used countywide.  Kootenai County will receive $6,500 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the refurbishment of a 1994 boat to be used countywide.  Kootenai County will receive $24,050 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for the refurbishment of a 1996 boat to be used countywide.  Kootenai County will receive $16,133 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for two personal watercraft to be used countywide.

Latah County- $ 98,500.00  Latah County will receive $98,500 from the Recreational Trail Program Fund to repair and to extend the Latah Trail.

Lemhi County- $47,576.00  Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office will received $47,576 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a jet boat & trailer to be used countywide.

Lewis County- $ 242,000.00  City of Nez Perce will receive $242,000 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for eight new camp sites & dump station at Nez Perce RV Park.

Owyhee County- $ 124,826.00  City of Grandview will receive $36,326 from the Cutthroat License Plate Fund for a fishing pier at Riverside Park.  City of Marsing will receive $88,500 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for parking, docks, & site work at Marsing Island Park.

Payette County- $ 123,594.69  Payette County will receive $9,952 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for an RV dump station at the Clay Peak Recreation Area.  City of Payette will receive $65,854.69 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a boat launch at Centennial Park.  Payette County Road & Bridge will receive 47,788 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a launch Ramp, RR, & picnic area at Rudy Park.

Power County- $ 175,874.85  City of American Falls will receive $105,500 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for an electrical upgrade at Bay.  City of American Falls will receive $70,374.85 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for a boat dock at Willow Bay.

Shoshone County- $ 84,470.00  St. Joe Ranger District will receive $14,000 from the Road & Bridge Fund for road maintenance at Cemetery Ridge.  County will receive $2,880 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for clearing and maintenance at Dot Creek.  Idaho Panhandle National Forest will receive $67,590 from the Motor Bike Fund to restore the trail at North Fork-Big Creek-Slate.

Teton County- $ 19,380.00  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $19,380 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for trail maintenance at Teton Basin Big Hole.

Twin Falls County- $ 191,185.00  Twin Falls County will receive $104,456 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for fairgrounds RV park restroom at City of Filer.  Sawtooth National Forest will receive $23,656 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund to develop the Cassia Division trailhead.  Twin Falls County will receive $6,343 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for a snowmobile & grooming sled to be used in the South Hills.  City of Twin Falls will receive $44,815 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the construction of the path and fencing at Pillar Falls.  Twin Falls County will receive $11,915 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for four PWC docks at Murtaugh Lake.

Valley County- $ 564,156.48  Valley County will receive $173,600 from the Waterways Improvement Fund for dock & ramp improvements at Lake Cascade-VanWyck.  City of McCall will receive $70,916 from the Waterways Improvement Fund to construct a boat launch ramp & access ramp at McCall City Launch.  Valley County will receive $60,420 from the Road & Bridge Fund to improve and add to the existing parking area at Francis Wallace.  Valley County will receive $26,836.48 from the Road & Bridge Fund for the construction of a parking area at Brush Creek.  Valley County will receive $46,800 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for the purchase of seven acres of land at Wellington Trailhead.  Payette National Forest will receive $39,640 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for heavy trail maintenance in the Krassel Ranger District.  Payette National Forest will receive $11,022 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for avalanche awareness forest wide.  Payette National Forest will receive $4,722 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for a snowmobile to be used forest wide.  Boise National Forest will receive $50,200 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail construction and puncheon at Eagles Nest/.  Payette Lakes Ski Club will receive $80,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for a Nordic groomer to be used at the Bear Basin Nordic Area.

Washington County- $ 44,400.00  Friends of Weiser River Trail will receive $44,400 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for the trail extension of the Weiser River Trail.

Multi County- $ 1,054,965.00  Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation will receive $79,873 from the Recreational Vehicle Fund for picnic tables & fire rings for use in parks statewide.  Idaho Department of Fish & Game will receive $30,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for OHV media outreach statewide.  Boise National Forest will receive $46,800 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for trail maintenance at North Zone of Boise NF.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $8,800 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for trail repair and reconstruction at Highline Trail.  Boise National Forest will receive $77,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund for trail repairs at Trinity Ridge & Elk/Pony Complexes.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $36,000 from the Off-Road Motor Vehicle Fund to expand the parking lot at Emigration Summit.  Sawtooth National Recreation Area will receive $14,500 from the Motor Bike Fund for heavy trail maintenance at Rough Creek Trail.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $2,500 from the Motor Bike Fund for signage at Big Hole.  Caribou-Targhee National Forest will receive $21,292 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for trail maintenance at Bear Lake, Caribou, & Franklin.  Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation – Trails Program will receive $720,000 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for four OSV groomers for use in Benewah, Twin Falls, Madison, & Fremont.  The Sawtooth Avalanche Center will receive $18,200 from the Recreational Trails Program Fund for avalanche weather stations in the Fairfield & Ketchum Ranger District.
