Upon arrival, transfer to visit the famous bund of shanghai, or more commonly known as “Shanghai Tan”. Located at central Shanghai, it runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, facing Pudong, in the eastern part of Huangpu District. The Shanghai Bund has dozens of historical buildings, lining the Huangpu River that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from countries such as United Kingdom, the United States, Europe and Japan. Surrounding the Huangpu River are significant architectures such as Pudong’s Pearl of the Orient, Jinmao Tower, Shanghai Centre, Shanghai World Financial Centre, Super Brand Mall, which are tourist spots not to be missed. Nanjing Road – China’s most prosperous commercial street, also known as the reputed Eastern Champs Elysees. DAY 2: Shanghai-Tunxi (B/L/D) 6 hours Accommodation: Baijing Daisi Hotel or similar 5* After breakfast, proceed to merchandise kingdom Chenghuang Temple Street, which is also the origin of Old Shanghai. Next we proceed to Shanghai’s famous historic town, Qibao Ancient Town. After lunch, proceed to tour the old streets of Huangshan, Tunxi. DAY 3: Tunxi-Wu Yuan-Tunxi (B/L/D) 1 hour Accommodation: Baijing Daisi Hotel or similar 5* After Breakfast, depart to Jiangxi Weiyuan, hailed as China’s most beautiful village where we will tour Li Keng, Xiao Qi, Jiang Wan. DAY 4: Tunxi-Xidi-Huangshan (B/L/D) 30mins Accommodation: Beihai Hotel or similar 4* After breakfast, proceed to Xidi’s ancient Folk house. Xidi was formerly known as Xi Chuan, where three streams flow from east to west and was famed for its waters (xi), and 1.5 Kilometers the west of the village is an ancient inn named “Pu Di Suo”, hence giving the village its name “Xi Di”. It was declared a part of the "Ancient Villages in Southern Anhui" World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000 and is a renowned expression of the Anhui culture. Next stop is to Huangshan. As the saying goes, ‘Trips to China's five great mountains render trips to other mountains unnecessary, and a trip to Huangshan renders trips to the five great mountains unnecessary.’, Mount Huangshan is famed for its unique pines, odd rocks and hot spring. Guangming peak, along with Tian du Peak and Lotus Peak forms Huangshan’s 3 main peaks. DAY 6: Huangshan-Jiuhuashan (includes return cable car) (B/L/D) 2.5 hours Accommodation: Wuxi Shanse Hotel or similar 5* After breakfast, descend via cable car and proceed to Jiuhuashan. Jiuhuashan, literally: "Nine Glorious Mountains") is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism, where three others are Wu Tai Shan, E Mei Shan, Putuo Shan. At Jiuhuashan, we will visit Longevity Palace (return cable car), first known as Zhaixin Temple and later Wannian Temple, it is one of the four renowned Buddhist Monastery along with Zhiyuan Temple, Dongya Temple, Kanro Temple. Zhiyuan Temple, or Zhiyuan Buddhist Temple, known in the ancient times as Zhiyuan or Zhishu, is one of the four biggest Buddhist monasteries in the mountain. According to legend, Sakyamuni preached Buddhism in the garden of Zhiyuan for over 20 years. Therefore Zhiyuan used to be the sacred place of the Indian Buddhism. The temple was built afterwards and named after the place. Huacheng Temple was the first temple in Jiuhua Mountain. With the longest history and as the site of Ksitigarbha Rite, it is the leading monastery of the mountain. Hangzhou has been one of the most renowned and prosperous cities in China for much of the last millennium, due in part to its beautiful natural scenery. The city's West Lake is its best-known attraction. As the saying goes, “Just as there is paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on earth.” Wushan is a prominent hill south of Hangzhou’s old city area. The hill is topped with a pavilion called Cheng Huang (Pavilion of the City God). The old Temple of the City God once stood at the foot of this hill. The pavilion is huge and is a recent construction, having been built in the 1990s. It has six floors with an elevator and an excellent view of the West Lake and southern Hangzhou. Take a stroll along He Fang Street which takes us through time and experience the prosperity of Qing dynasty. DAY 8: Hangzhou- Fenghua-Ningbo (B/L/D) 2.5 hours Accommodation: S&N Hotel or similar 5* After breakfast, proceed to Ningbo’s city-Fenghua. Fenghua is most famous for being the hometown of Generalissimo and former ROC President Chiang Kai-shek. There, we will visit President Chiang’s former residences. Thereafter, proceed to Ningbo, also formerly written Ningpo, is a seaport city in the northeast of Zhejiang province. DAY 9: Ningbo-Shanghai (B/L/D) 3hours Accommodation: Howard Johnson Hotel After breakfast, visit Tianyi Pavilion. Tianyige Library is located on the bank of the Moon Lake in Ningbo. Tianyige Library is the oldest private library now still in existence in China, and it is also one of the most ancient private libraries in the world. King Asoka Temple is situated on King Asoka Mountain in the east of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, and is one of the Five Mountains of Buddhism's Chan Sect (Zen) in China. It is famous home and abroad because of the pagoda of the body relic of Sakyamuni Buddha in the temple. The temple is also the only extant ancient temple of one thousand years old named after King Asoka of India in China. In 1983, it was designated as one of national key temples in the areas of the Han nationality. After lunch, proceed to Shanghai to visit Oriental Pearl Tower (2nd Level).
