Copeland Park Visiting Team Guide UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-LA CROSSE Copeland Park Visiting Team Guide uwlathletics.com UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-LA CROSSE Copeland Park Visiting Team Guide In May 2012, UW-La Crosse Athletics and the La Crosse Loggers announced a new partnership. Copeland Park, a City of La Crosse-owned facility has been home to the La Crosse Loggers for 11 years. The 2014 season marks the inaugural season for UW-La Crosse Baseball at Copeland Field. Recent projects include installation of a video board, renovation of dugouts, and construction of batting cages. Artificial turf for playing surface on the infield, in foul territory, and on the warning track have also been installed. All facility improvements will be funded entirely with private resources; no taxpayer dollars will be used. GAME INFORMATION -UW-L will wear white or maroon jerseys with white pants ATHLETIC TRAINING ROOM -Lockers/showers only available in Mitchell Hall on cam- Located in 10 Mitchell Hall (basement). pus Open: 1 ½ hours before -Bathrooms on site at Copland Park 1 hour past most athletic events -Umpires contracted by WIAC Call ahead for specific requests -Home dugout is along the third base line -Visitors’ dugout is along the first base line -Infield: artificial turf -Outfield: grass uwlathletics.com UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-LA CROSSE Copeland Park Visiting Team Guide STADIUM & FIELD RULES PLEASE ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING STADIUM/FIELD RULES AND GUIDELINES: 1. ABSOLUTELY NO SUNFLOWER SEEDS OR GUM ALLOWED 2. NO CARRY INS ALLOWED. VISTIING TEAMS MAY BRING IN LUNCH ITEMS WHEN PLAYING DOUBLEHEADERS. Copeland Park and the adjacent parking lots are city owned. ANIMALS (10.3-K): No animals are allowed inside Copeland Park field Leashed dogs on a leash of not more than eight (8) feet shall be allowed in parking lots or on designated walkways or trails.
