Jensen, from San Diego, Calif., helped the Bruins clinch a crucial Pac-10 series against archrival USC, by hitting .571 (8-for-14), with a home run, two doubles, five RBI, and six runs scored. Jensen was particularly hot at the plate in the Saturday and Sunday games, which were televised on Fox Sports Net, going 3-for-5 (.600) at the plate with a home run, a double, and two RBI on Saturday, and 4-for-4 with a double, four runs scored and three RBI on Sunday. On the season, Jensen is hitting .332 with a team-leading 65 hits, five home runs, and team-bests of 31 RBI and 42 runs scored. Reynolds, from Pacific, Calif., pitched his first career complete game shutout and third consecutive complete game to outduel Washington’s Tim Lincecum in a 5-0 Stanford victory. Reynolds struck out nine and walked just one, while scattering eight hits to win his fourth straight start, the fifth in his last six outings. He improved to 6-3 overall and lowered his ERA to 3.17, as he did not allow a hit after the seventh inning and struck out five of the last 10 hitters he faced.
