PRESS BOX The Louisville Bats’ press box is open to working media with credentials only. Phone and wireless internet services are available. MEDIA INFORMATION Media packets, game notes, statistics and press releases will be made available to working media only in the press box two hours prior to the start of every game. PHOTOGRAPHERS Photographers may shoot from the open areas at the far end of either dugout and from the tunnel behind home plate. CLUBHOUSE/FIELD ACCESS COVID Policy: Per MLB health/safety regulations, clubhouse access is prohibited unless a Tier 2 status employee. These policies may be adjusted later during the season. Previous Policy: Both the home and visiting clubhouses can be accessed by taking the main elevator to the basement level. The Bats’ Clubhouse is open to the media except one hour prior to game time and during the game. The clubhouse is open 15 minutes following all games, but will be closed during rain delays and between games of a doubleheader. The Visiting Clubhouse is governed by the visiting manager. INTERVIEWS COVID Policy: All interviews will be conducted via phone call or Zoom until MLB deems it safe to lift restrictions regarding player and coach access. Previous Policy: The coaching staff and players will be available on the field and in the clubhouse immediately following batting practice. Interviews may in no way interrupt pregame routines (stretching, hitting, running, infield, etc.). Pregame interviews should be completed 45 minutes prior to the game. Curran is also the radio play-by-play voice of the University of Louisville women’s basketball team and a graduate of Western Kentucky University. Prior to his current role with the Louisville Cardinals, Curran was the play-by-play voice of the Bellarmine University men’s basketball team, where he called the 2011 National Championship for the Knights. He can also be heard on ESPN 680 in Louisville on Sunday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon.
