By using the code of the charity of your choice, you ensure that your donation goes to meet the needs that you feel are most important. Simply designate the charity(s) of your choice where indicated on your pledge form by entering its code and the amount you wish to pledge. Except for documented expenses for the operation of the local region and unfulfilled pledges, all contributions are distributed as designated. There is no limit to the amount of contributions a charity may receive through SEFA. There is also no limit to the number of participating charities to which you may designate a contribution. What is State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA)? To give to more charities than can be added to the pledge form, complete additional pledge SEFA is the solicitation of State employees in their workplaces on behalf of approved charities, forms with your name on them, and staple them together. The top pledge form must contain authorized thru State Law and Regulations and supported by labor and management. the sum of all pledges. In order to show progress, a unit is counted if it has been contacted at least once by January/February, two times by March/April, three times by May/June, four times by July/August, five times by September/October and six times by November/December. For example, a unit that was not contacted until March will not be counted in January or February, but will count in March, if it receives two contacts that month. At the end of the year a unit needs at least six total contacts to be counted.
