Over the next three or four months a small flock were purchased. You can spot them at a variety of places in the Downtown Arts and Culture District and also within the Neon Sign Park. Definition: In the United States, when someone refers to a buzzard it means a turkey vulture, a member of the New World vultures. Since the adoption of our downtown mascot and his naming by a vote of the City Historic Preservation Commission, there has been media awareness of the turkey vultures that roost at Boyce Thompson in Superior, the ones in Casa Grande and even an interest by Fox 10 news traveling to Casa Grande for a story.
