Fleming was arrested after allegedly stabbing Calhoun multiple times inside Fleming’s residence on Sept. 25. At this time, the charges against Fleming have been dismissed. “The investigation is still ongoing and if further information arises, the case will be reviewed again,” St. Joseph County Prosecutor John McDonough said. “The police did an extensive investigation and at this point it appears that Mr. Fleming was acting in self-defense.” Alek Frost can be reached at 279- 7488 ext. 24 or alek@threeriversnews. com.
