Maritime museum of This museum is next door to the conference venue (walking distance) and is built in an old shipyard. http://mfs.dk/en/

Danish museum for Science and Technology This museum is giving an insight to the developments in science and technology. http://tekniskmuseum.dk/english/ Take bus 802 from Helsingør.

Humlebæk Louisiana, Museum of Modern Art Louisiana is the museum of modern art in Denmark. It is the best visited museum and it has a nice garden and restaurant with a nice view on the Øresund. https://en.louisiana.dk/ Louisiana can be reached by train from Helsingør. Take the train to the south towards Copenhagen and leave the train at Humlebæk. From Humlebæk station it is about a 1.5 km walk. You can also take the bus 388. This bus holds directly in front of the museum (bus stop: Louisiana, Humlebæk Strandvej)

Fredensborg and Gardens This castle is the summer residence of the queen of Denmark. The regional train ( lokalbane 930R) is probably the fastest way to reach Fredensborg.

Hillerød and Castle Gardens This castle lies in the heart of in the city of Hillerød, the capital of the region. The regional train (l okalbane 930R) is probably the fastest way to reach Hillerød. A good alternative is the regional train (lokalbane 940R). This is not the fastest way, but certainly a nice way crossing the major forest of norther Zealand.

Hornbæk and Hornbæk and Gilleleje are two small harbors on the northern Zealand coast, west from Helsingør. Both villages are easy to reach by train (l okalbane 940R).

Helsingborg, Sweden A visit to the city of Helsingborg is easy to make. Just take one of the ferries from Helsingør and you’re within 30 minutes on the other site of the Øresund.
