1992 1993 November 21, 1992 - New Haven 38, West Chester 26 November 20, 1993 - New Haven 48, Edinboro 28 In its first ever NCAA playoff game, New Haven defeated host West The Chargers took control of the game early and never led by less than Chester to advance to the national quarterfinals. The Chargers opened seven points. New Haven held a 14-0 lead after the first period as Joe the scoring with two first quarter touchdown passes from Ken Suhl. Davis caught a 15-yard TD pass from Jim Weir while Roger Graham New Haven took control of the game with two TDs in the third quarter, added a three-yard run. Edinboro sandwiched two TDs around Weir’s raising its lead to 32-14, before West Chester came right back with four-yard TD run in the second quarter, making the score 21-14 at halftime. The Chargers controlled the third quarter by scoring two two TDs of its own to make the score 32-26. New Haven ended any more TDs, a two-yard dive by Graham and a 32-yard TD reception by comeback thoughts when Roger Graham broke through for a 45- Tony Willis, raising the advantage to 34-14. Graham finished with 215 yard TD run. Graham finished with 222 yards and one TD while Suhl yards and two TDs while A.J. Livingston gained 116 yards on 18 carries, completed 19 of 27 passes for 350 yards and three TDs. Tony Willis the first time UNH had two 100-yard rushers in a playoff game.
