The races were held on the “long” 3.40 mile course. The event occurred on July 4th through the 6th of 2014. The event consisted of eight (8) race groups. Each group had a race on Saturday and on Sunday; the race on Sunday was the contingency race. The event used a sanction of 14-M-3134-S. On Friday, there was a morning qualifying session of 20 minutes for each group. After a lunch break, there was a 15 minute qualifying for each group. The fastest time of either Friday session set the grid for Saturday. There were four warm-ups sessions Saturday morning. After that, each race group was scheduled to have a 30 minute race. Group 2 was accidentally given an extra lap, as the leader reach the start line at 30:19 for the white flag. Group 4, 6 and 7 were checkered early. For the races on Sunday, the fastest time from either qualifying session or the Saturday race was used to set the grid. Each group was scheduled for a 15 lap or 40 minute race. Group 3 was checkered early rather than under yellow to rescue a stranded car, and group 8 was checkered early after an accident in turn 9 required immediate attention.
