IPIECA Climate change: a glossary of terms 5th Edition Preface The IPIECA glossary of climate change terms was first printed in June 1999 and defines and explains many of the terms used at the climate change negotiations and more broadly in the field. This fifth edition has been updated following the UN Climate Change Conference in Durban, South Africa in December 2011 (COP 17 and COP/MOP 7).
