Previously worked for The Boston Globe and WEEI Radio. I have a long history of radio and video experience as well as several years covering the Arizona Diamondbacks and the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes as a beat reporter. Covered every Diamondbacks home game and select road trips; provided written stories as well as video content. Was the lead beat writer covering the Coyotes and had full control over coverage of the beat. o Also involved in covering the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Phoenix Rising, and many other teams in the Valley. I am responsible for feature stories, video/written analysis, game coverage, columns, miscellaneous video, and much more. o Before being hired full-time, I held a 10-week fellowship from June 2017 through August covering professional and amateur sports in the Phoenix area. ■ Sports correspondent – The Boston Globe o Held 6-month co-op position from June 2015 through December covering Eastern Massachusetts high school sports on a full-time basis. Was responsible for coordinating coverage of numerous beats relating to high school sports. o Involved covering football, basketball, soccer, swimming, field hockey, hockey and volleyball games, as well as weekly feature stories. During the co-op, my output was about four stories a week for the Globe as a sophomore in college. o I remained employed as a part-time correspondent until my college graduation in 2017 for various local pro teams (Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, New England Revolution, Boston Cannons), local college teams (Harvard) basketball, UMass football, University of New Hampshire football) and high school sports. Page 2 ■ Intern - WEEI Radio o Held a 6-month internship interning with the flagship station of the Boston Red Sox, working alongside broadcasters Joe Castiglione and Tim Neverett, covering every Red Sox home game in 2016. o Involved doing pre- and post-game interviews with players and distributing the audio to WEEI producers for on-air use. Also involved a “player of the game” interview, which I produced for live air. o Held heavy focus on how to cover a team throughout a 6-plus-month season, including keeping season-long documents and conducting follow-up interviews with players. ■ Editor-in-chief – The Foul Language (thefoullanguage.com) o Sports column writing, website (November 2013 – present). o Responsible for editing all writing on the site, as well as writing content related to baseball, hockey, football, soccer and racing. ■ Columnist/Insider – WTSL Radio (ESPN Radio affiliate) o Covering the Boston Red Sox on a part-time basis from 2013-present, acquiring audio of players, personnel, etc. from Fenway Park for affiliated use via the radio station. o Involved writing online columns about local high school, college or pro teams in New England, as well as on-air appearances re: local high school, college or pro teams in New England. ■ On-air talent – WTPL Radio (“The Bob Lobel Show”) o Sports talk show; consisted of Bob Lobel, Bob Lipman and myself during high school, which aired weekdays from 1-2 p.m. on 107.7 FM from Bow, N.H. o Involved in a 5-hour broadcast from Fenway Park on Friday, September 30, 2013. ■ Staff writer (Sports, News, A&E) – The Suffolk Voice (suffolkvoice.net) o Online publication, August 2013 – Present. ■ Editor-in-chief (layout & writing) – The Spartans Speak o January 2012 – June 2013. o Responsible for designing the print edition, organizing it, and editing all written content.
