Christianity In Essence As explained by Sri Rajiv Malhotra; In the words of Suresh Vyas With comments in footnotes 1. God first created Adam and Eve the first humans, and an apple tree1 2. God told them to not eat the apple2 3. Adam could not resist, and ate the apple. This is the original sin3 4. God cursed them that they and their generations all will be sinners4. Therefore, Christians believe all humans are sinners5 5. Then God felt sorry for cursing, and figured a way to free mankind from the sin.6 Therefore, he got birth from virgin marry as Jesus.7 That way, Jesus is sin-free because he is not born from sinner parents 6. Then Jesus took all the sins of mankind and suffered all pain on the cross, but with a condition 7. The condition is: Whoever believes in Jesus, that he was born sin-free from virgin Marry, and took the sins of mankind, is saved. This is salvation. This is called Good News by Christians.8 8. Those who do not believe in Jesus are sinners and they will go to hell.9 9. Jesus is the only way to haven.10 1 The god enticed Adam and Eve for no good reason. Adam could not think like Hindus to fee grateful to god for creating apple, else he may have served the apple to god before eating it as prasaadam. An apple is created only for eating, and god forbade Adam to eat apple. Additionally, if god created Adam and Eve, then god is their father/mother too, so why god does no show love to Adam and Eve. 2 So, then why god created apple if it is to be wasted/not to be eaten? 3 If eating appl is sin, then how big sin it is to eat cow and run slaughterhouses? 4 Adam apparently had no devotion for god, or he might be very hungry, as probably there was no other food. 5 How can all become sinners if only one person commits a sin? This is very different from the Vedic theory of Karma. If one’s sin goes down the generations, then one’s becoming sin-free also should make one’s generations sin-free, but Christians do not think that way. 6 So, this god makes mistakes. The god described in the Veda is perfect, and makes no mistakes or acts he would feel sorry for. Though, during incarnations He may make lilaa as if he is sorry or made mistake. 7 Ganesh is born of Parvati w/o Shiva’s mating. Kunti got pregnant by Sun god w/o physical contact with Sun god. A few years ago, there was a news that a whale got pregnant w/o contact with male whale or whale sperm. 8 Jesus was a nice/pious person. So then why Christians (or any human) would want to transfer his/her sin on Jesus? It is very cruel. Should not one take the responsibility for one’s karma? What kind of mentality it is that one wants to transfers one’s sins on an innocent person? 9 That means that the ancestors of the Christians who were born before Jesus are in hell. Christians have hard time to believe it. The Vedic dharma says that some of the ancestors could be in haven also because of their good karma. Meaning, there are and were ways to go to haven. Jesus is not the only way (if it is). 10 Per the Vedic dharma, no one has monopoly over haven or hell. One’s accumulated karma will force one to go to heaven or to hell. .
