(ADVANCE) . . REGINA, NOV. 12 - Scholarships, bursaries and prizes were presented to more than 30 distinguished students tais afternoon (Nov. 12) at the third annual scholar- ships' awards function of the Faculty of Engineering, Univer-
Saskatchewan, Regina Campus. The ceremony was held in the Campion Auditorium.
Keynote speaker at the function was G.L. Colborne, deputy minister of the Saskatchewan department of industry and com- merce; he was introduced by Dr. E.B. Tinker. Dean J.B.
Mantle, of the Faculty of Engineering, introduced the platform party, and Dr. W.A. Riddell, principal of the University of
Saskatchewan in Regina, and Bill Harris, president of the
Student Engineering Society, spoke briefly.
Presentation of awards followed the keynote address.
Brent H. Taylor, of Wawota, receiver the University of
Saskatchewan Continuing Scholarship wilch was presented by Dr.
Riddell.
Minister of Welfare C.P. MacDonald presented Government of Saskatchewan Entrance Scholarships to the following students:

Donald L. Myers, Regina, received the R. Yoneda and
Associates Ltd, Prize, which was presented by Mr. Yoneda, Regina.
The Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatch- ewan, Slide Rule Prize was presented by Dr. R. L. Cheesman,
Regina, to Ian R. Roach, Yorkton.

Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan, First Year Book Prize, which was presented by Dr. R. L. Cheesman.
J. Dwight Stregger, Estevan,received the Faculty of
