Creation: ca.1925–1986 [collection] Physical description: 2.2 metres (approx.) textual records Scope and content The collection consists primarily of documents relating to the histories of various local churches in Saskatchewan. Contents include written historical narratives (sketches) and notes, newspaper articles, pamphlets, and publications. The latter include volumes 1 and 2 of "Early History of Saskatchewan Churches (Grass Roots)", compiled and edited by Meredith B. Banting, ca.1975. Availability of other formats Some publications containing local church histories are also available from the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan and various local public libraries. Finding aids: GS-168 includes original file and series listings, in section A.676.XIX, with additions listed under A.785.XV.SA.270B to SA.270C.
