The East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and JR EAST VIEW Travel Service Co., ltd. (VTS) offer multi-faceted "Flight + JR" travel products aimed at overseas visitors to Japan in collaboration with international airlines. We’re excited to announce the launch of new products for visitors to the Tohoku area from China. In addition to international airlines, we are also cooperating with the Beijing JPYOO International Travel Co., Ltd. (the local Chinese subsidiary of ET Mobile Japan Co., Ltd., written as JPYOO Travel Co. below) with whom VTS is in a business partnership. Together we have worked on the establishment and sale of these products in order to increase inbound demand to the Tohoku area. 1. Tohoku/Yamagata excursion products in cooperation with Air China Since August 2016, we have offered the "Eastern Japan Tokyo Rail Days Sendai/Tokyo Rail Free Plan" in cooperation with JPYOO Travel Co. as a joint product with Air China. It is a specially priced travel product that allows for an excursion between Tohoku and Tokyo with Sendai Airport as a gateway using trains such as the Tohoku Shinkansen. At this time, we would like to launch the "Eastern Japan Tokyo Rail Days Yamagata/Tokyo Rail Free Plan" with the addition of discount lodging within Yamagata Prefecture in cooperation with Yamagata’s "Promotion Project Cooperated with Sendai International Airport."
