East Riding of Pharmacy Needle Exchange and Harm Reduction Training

East Riding Council has arranged two training sessions for pharmacy teams delivering the needle exchange service from their pharmacies.

This training is essential for all pharmacy staff delivering the needle exchange service.

Overview of topics to be covered: - Needle and syringe programme in the East Riding or Yorkshire - NICE guidance - Image and performance enhancing drugs - Equipment and specialist advice to people who inject drugs - Signposting and referral pathways

Events: (Please note your pharmacy only needs to attend one event)

Bridlington (15 places) Wednesday 19 April 2017 Venue: East Riding Leisure , Promenade, YO15 2QQ A cold buffet and refreshments will be available for all participants from 6:30pm Prompt start at 7pm Finish: 9:00pm.

Driffield (15 places) Wednesday 3 May 2017 Venue: Rugby Union Football Club. A164, Kelleythorpe, YO25 9DW A cold buffet and refreshments will be available for all participants from 6:30pm Prompt start at 7pm Finish: 9:00pm.
