Dear Colleagues,

First of all, to extend my sincere greetings to you.

On behalf of CTWA, it gives us great pleasure in inviting you to attend the China International Tug of War Tournament 2017 at GanYu of Province from October 13rd to 16th,2017.

Senior W540 & Senior Mix600 4×4 shall be included in the Tournament.The Chinese Tug of War Association hereby invite your teams to participate in. We will provide all participants 4day/3night (from October 13rd to 16st,2017) free accommodation and local transportation. The top 6 teams will share a total of 6,000USD in prize money.

We will hold a Test Event of WIC 2018 in Xuzhou after the Ganyu Tournament. The teams who want to participate in will be sent to Xuzhou by the LOC on 15th Oct(3hours by bus). The test event will be held at the same venue of the WIC 2018. We will provide all participants 3day/2night (from October 15th to 17th,2017) free accommodation and local transportation.

1. Date and Venue Date: October 13rd to 16th, 2017 Venue: Ganyu, city, Jiangsu Province ,China 2. Hosted by: Chinese Leisure Sports Administrative Center Chinese Tug of War Association 3. Organized by: Jiangsu Leisure Sports Administrative Center Lianyungang Sports Bureau The people's Government of Ganyu , Lianyungang 4. Teams of the TWIF member countries and regions will be invited. 5. Competition Events: 1) Women 540kg 2) Mixed 4X4 600kg 6. Participating Methods 1) Each team participate the Women and Mixed consists of 17 persons including 1 team leader, 1 coach, 1 trainer, 8-9 women pullers and 4-5 men pullers (includung 2 substitute), 2) Illness and accident insurance of all participants are requested. 7. Competition Methods 1) The updated TWIF Rules are adopted. 2) The competition venue is located indoor while a Dunlop indoor lane is to be used. 3) All the pullers should be in uniform when attending the opening/closing ceremony & during the competition. 8. Ranking and Awarding 1) The team ranking decided by the accumulated points by the women group and mixed group. 2) The top 6 teams will be awarded. The top 3 teams will be awarded trophy, medal and certificate. Place 4 to 6 teams will be awarded plaque and certificate. 3) The top 6 teams will be awarded prize: the 1st 10000RMB,2nd 8000RMB,3rd 6000RMB,4th 4000RMB, 5th 4000RMB, 6th 4000RMB respectively. 9. Entry, Arrival and Departure 1) Entry Please send the entry form after having filled and a brief introduction of your team with a picture of your team to the Chinese Tug of War Association before 20th September. 2) Arrival& Departure We will provide each team one round transportation between airport and Ganyu District ,so please arrange your members arrive and depart airport together.Arrival date is 13rd October. Departure date is 16th October .(the nearest airport is LIANYUNGANG airport) 10. Expenses 1) International transportation to Lianyungang Airport should be borne by all participants themselves. 2) Free accommodation including boarding and lodging and local transportation during the competition for 3nights/4days from October 13rd to 16th ,2017 will be provided by the LOC. 3) Early arrival, late departure and extra person will have to pay 40USD per day per person (standard twin room). 10.
