X GAMES ASPEN 2015 EXECUTIVE BIOS SCOTT GUGLIELMINO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAMMING & X GAMES Scott Guglielmino was promoted to senior vice president, programming and X Games events in June 2010. In his role, Guglielmino is responsible for all aspects of the X Games franchise as well as the management of the soccer category for ESPN in the U.S., including the much-heralded 2014 and 2010 FIFA World Cup events. Most recently, Guglielmino added the NFL, Tennis and Golf categories under his scope and also oversees the Digital Programming team. Prior to his current role, Guglielmino served as vice president, programming & acquisitions at ESPN, overseeing all motorsports (NASCAR, NHRA, IndyCar), NBA, Soccer (FIFA, UEFA, USSF, MLS), Olympic Sports and Lacrosse properties, a position he had held since 2004. Guglielmino directed the return of NASCAR to ESPN and ABC in 2007 across ESPN's multimedia assets, including television, internet, radio, print, broadband and wireless. He also played a key role in ESPN's acquisition of the Monday Night Football franchise and coordinated the company's negotiation preparation for both ESPN and ABC Sports. Guglielmino has also overseen brand extension efforts for ESPN's X Games, which have enabled ESPN to establish the leading global action sports brand. Since 1998, Guglielmino has played a significant role in ESPN's soccer coverage. He was a major contributor in the decision to televise the highly-successful FIFA Women's World Cup in 1999 and managed all network plans for the 2014 and 2010 Men's FIFA World Cup events. Guglielmino originally started at ESPN as a freelance statistics coordinator in 1993. Through the past 19 years, he was promoted to planner, senior planner, director and vice president. Guglielmino graduated from the University of Connecticut. Guglielmino is a native and resident of Cheshire, Conn. TIM REED VICE PRESIDENT, X GAMES Recently promoted to vice president, X Games, Tim Reed oversees creative development and the day-to-day business of the X Games franchise. Reed previously held the role of senior director, X Games events & content, where his vision for the X Games brand led to transformational elements to the X Games Austin and Aspen events. These elements include an enhanced festival experience that captures the lifestyle around youth culture, with an emphasis on incorporating live world-class music performances, premiere eSports gaming competitions and more. Reed is also responsible for overseeing the successful relocation of the X Games summer event from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas, and negotiating the five-year extension of the X Games winter event in Aspen, Colo. until 2019. Additionally, he led the launch of the year-round World of X Games television series on ABC, an athlete-focused program which reaches a world-wide audience through cross-platform digital and social content strategy. Prior to his role as senior director, Reed oversaw the planning and daily execution of Sports & Competition, Event Production, Medical and Logistics departments for X Games, where he led development of key X Games sports components including: RallyCross, the first temporary park concrete courses, the first fan-voted event around Moto X Best Whip and created the disciplines of Moto X and Snowmobile Speed & Style. He also launched the first digital X Games competition, Real Street, which has grown into the Real Series franchise. In 1997, Reed started his career at ESPN as a sports & competition intern. He worked a variety of sports and operations positions over the next two years. In 2002, he was promoted to assistant director of Sports & Competition, where he focused on developing and executing X Games competitions. Throughout his career, Reed has been integral to the planning and execution of over 50 X Games events around the world. A graduate of Yale University, Reed earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and played varsity football and basketball. In his free time, he enjoys snowboarding and skateboarding – two passions that led to his desire to work for ESPN and X Games. AMY ROSENFELD SENIOR COORDINATING PRODUCER, ESPN Amy Rosenfeld makes her return to X Games in Aspen as senior coordinating producer where she is responsible for the overall production of both X Games Aspen and X Games Austin for both X Games Aspen and X Games Austin. With extensive TV production experience on numerous ESPN, ABC and NBC Sports events since 1997, Rosenfeld joined ESPN full-time in 2007 after 11 years as a freelance producer on soccer events for ESPN and NBC Sports Olympics coverage. She is responsible for overseeing the global coverage for all soccer events on ESPN’s linear and digital networks. She has served as the lead producer for every English-language telecast of the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup in the United States since 1999. Rosenfeld played a key senior producer role on ESPN’s critically acclaimed and Emmy Award-winning coverage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, spearheading the company’s ground-breaking presentation of the world’s most-popular sporting event in the continent of Africa for the first time. She also played an integral role, as part of the event content production leadership team, in the success of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil – ESPN’s most-watched FIFA World Cup. Rosenfeld also oversees ESPN's motorsports coverage including Indy Car and NHRA. Rosenfeld’s production credits include WNBA on Lifetime (1997 – 2000), NCAA Men’s and Women’s College Cup (2002 – ’03), and Olympics Men’s and Women’s soccer on NBC Sports (2000 and 2004). She has also produced NCAA men’s and women’s basketball telecasts, NCAA Men’s Frozen Four (2003 – ’04), NBC’s Winter Olympics (2002 and 2006) and ESPN’s Winter and Summer X Games (2008 – 2010). A native of Concord, Mass., Rosenfeld began her sports television production career as an intern at the New England Sports Network (NESN) where she returned to upon graduation from Colorado College and eventually became coordinating producer for Boston Bruins NHL games and Boston Red Sox telecasts. RICH FEINBERG VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCTION, ESPN Rich Feinberg rejoined the X Games franchise in 2014 where he oversees the TV production for the X Games events in Aspen and Austin. Feinberg played an integral part of the event development and television production team from the X Games’ inception in 1994, overseeing all ABC prime-time network telecasts, ABC’s Wide World of Sports X Games programs and all ESPN and ESPN2 telecasts. He was the lead coordinating producer on the X Games from the first event in 1995 as well as the first X Games winter event in 1997 where he remained until 2006 when he transitioned into producing motorsports full-time at ESPN. Since joining ESPN in 1993, Feinberg has also produced a variety of ESPN events in the consolidated motorsports category, including NASCAR, where he served as vice president, motorsports, event and studio production. Previously senior coordinating producer, remote production, Feinberg was responsible for the launch of NASCAR on ESPN race production prior to the 2007 season. He also manages the production of other aspects of ESPN’s auto racing lineup, including the IndyCar Series, the Indianapolis 500 and NHRA drag racing. Under Feinberg’s leadership, ESPN’s NASCAR coverage in 2007 was produced totally in high definition, including the first use of HD in-car cameras in motorsports television history. Additionally, Feinberg oversaw the inaugural HD telecast of the greatest spectacle in motorsports, the Indianapolis 500, as well as ESPN’s introduction of the Tech Garage and the ESPN Pit Studio, the two most technologically advanced, state-of-the-art traveling studios used in television. Feinberg also previously oversaw production of the ESPN-owned ESPY Awards telecast for nine years as a producer, co-producer, and coordinating producer. His duties included working with celebrity hosts of the program, among them actors Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Matthew Perry, Jimmy Smits, comedian Jimmy Kimmel and NBA star, LeBron James. Before joining ESPN, Feinberg was director of planning and production for Sports Television International (STI), an independent sports production company from 1988-1992, where he oversaw production for Showtime Championship Boxing, World League Football, NASCAR auto racing and Acapulco cliff diving. He also participated in negotiations for programming with ABC, ESPN and Showtime. A native of New Jersey, Feinberg is a graduate of Emerson College where he received a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. -30- .
