X GAMES 2014 EXECUTIVE BIOS SCOTT GUGLIELMINO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAMMING & X GAMES Scott Guglielmino was promoted to senior vice president, programming and X Games events in June 2010. In his role, Guglielmino is responsible for all aspects of the X Games franchise as well as the management of the soccer category for ESPN in the U.S., including the much-heralded 2010 FIFA World Cup. Most recently, Guglielmino added the NFL, Tennis and Golf categories under his scope and also oversees the Digital Programming team. Prior to his current role, Guglielmino served as vice president, programming & acquisitions at ESPN, overseeing all motorsports (NASCAR, NHRA, IndyCar), NBA, Soccer (FIFA, UEFA, USSF, MLS), Olympic Sports and Lacrosse properties, a position he had held since 2004. Guglielmino directed the return of NASCAR to ESPN and ABC in 2007 across ESPN's multimedia assets, including television, internet, radio, print, broadband and wireless. He also played a key role in ESPN's acquisition of the Monday Night Football franchise and coordinated the company's negotiation preparation for both ESPN and ABC Sports. Guglielmino has also overseen brand extension efforts for ESPN's X Games, which have enabled ESPN to establish the leading global action sports brand. Since 1998, Guglielmino has played a significant role in ESPN's soccer coverage. He was a major contributor in the decision to televise the highly-successful FIFA Women's World Cup in 1999 and managed all network plans for the 2010 Men's FIFA World Cup. Guglielmino originally started at ESPN as a freelance statistics coordinator in 1993. -

December 26, 2020 BOWL SEASON NOTES The 2020-21 Bowl Season enters its sixth day, with seven games played so far… Friday saw one game played – a Buffalo 17-10 win over Marshall in the Camellia Bowl… the game marked the first Christmas-day bowl game to be played since the 2003 Hawaii Bowl… the win was the Bulls’ sixth victory of the season (6-1)… Today’s schedule features three matchups, as Louisiana and UTSA sQuare off in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl (3:30 p.m. EST on ABC), Western Kentucky takes on Georgia State in the LendingTree Bowl (3:30 p.m. EST on ESPN), and Liberty faces Coastal Carolina in the FBC Mortgage Cure Bowl (7:30 p.m. EST on ESPN)… Three other bowls (Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl, Guaranteed Rate Bowl, Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl) originally scheduled for today were all canceled earlier… Bowl Season will culminate with the College Football Playoff National Championship, played in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on January 11. Oct. 5, 2015 AMERICAN SPORTS NETWORK & CUTTING EDGE SPORTS MANAGEMENT AGREE TO MULTI-YEAR DEAL FOR DREAM BOWL BROADCAST Milltown, N.J. - American Sports Network (“ASN”), a division of Sinclair Networks Group, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI), announced that it has entered into an agreement with Cutting Edge Sports Management to broadcast the Dream Bowl for the next two years. The college all-star game will be played on Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 in Virginia Beach, Va. The Dream Bowl was created to provide opportunities for FCS, Division II and Division III athletes to showcase their talents. Under the agreement, ASN will air the game on Sinclair broadcast stations and other affiliates around the country. "We have found the perfect broadcast partner in American Sports Network to help us expand the reach and exposure of the game and these individual players," said Neil Malvone, president of Cutting Edge Sports Management. Malvone added "the broadcast reach of ASN, through its parent company, Sinclair, will permit the entire country to see the talented players competing in this year's Dream Bowl."
