Saturdays offer a great opportunity for local families and groups to attend a great college football game in an historic venue. We look forward to showcasing our city to the fans of the two participating teams as well as to a nationally televised audience,” said Mark Meadows, Birmingham Bowl Executive Director. “We will be announcing our events and bowl week activities soon and hope everyone will plan to participate and attend the game.” In last year’s Birmingham Bowl, then-No. 22 ranked USF defeated South Carolina 46- 39 in an exciting overtime game, the first in Birmingham Bowl history. Since the game’s inception in 2006, the Birmingham Bowl has generated over $141 million in economic impact for the Birmingham community, according to figures provided by the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau. Tickets for the 12th annual Birmingham Bowl will go on sale to the public on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017. East and West reserved seats are $50 and general admission tickets are $30.
