    X GAMES 2014 EXECUTIVE BIOS SCOTT GUGLIELMINO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PROGRAMMING & X GAMES Scott Guglielmino was promoted to senior vice president, programming and X Games events in June 2010. In his role, Guglielmino is responsible for all aspects of the X Games franchise as well as the management of the soccer category for ESPN in the U.S., including the much-heralded 2010 FIFA World Cup. Most recently, Guglielmino added the NFL, Tennis and Golf categories under his scope and also oversees the Digital Programming team. Prior to his current role, Guglielmino served as vice president, programming & acquisitions at ESPN, overseeing all motorsports (NASCAR, NHRA, IndyCar), NBA, Soccer (FIFA, UEFA, USSF, MLS), Olympic Sports and Lacrosse properties, a position he had held since 2004. Guglielmino directed the return of NASCAR to ESPN and ABC in 2007 across ESPN's multimedia assets, including television, internet, radio, print, broadband and wireless. He also played a key role in ESPN's acquisition of the Monday Night Football franchise and coordinated the company's negotiation preparation for both ESPN and ABC Sports. Guglielmino has also overseen brand extension efforts for ESPN's X Games, which have enabled ESPN to establish the leading global action sports brand. Since 1998, Guglielmino has played a significant role in ESPN's soccer coverage. He was a major contributor in the decision to televise the highly-successful FIFA Women's World Cup in 1999 and managed all network plans for the 2010 Men's FIFA World Cup.
