(plot no/village/tehsil/district) The project site is located near Saguna More, Danapur – Khagaul Road at Mauza - Mainpur Shankar, Tehsil -Phulwari, Survey Thana- Danapur, Thana – Khagaul, Thana No. 24, Khata No. 104, 134, 35, 232 Plot No. 408, 429, 431, 433, 426, 427, 406, Dist. Patna, Bihar 2. Salient feature of the project Land use pattern/total plot area /built up Land Use pattern- area Residential Area Master Plan- 2031. Total Plot Area- 12787.79 sq.mt. Total Build-up area - 61186.14 Sq. M. Total water requirement during Total water requirement and its source Operation Phase will be 450 KLD in which fresh water will be 241 KLD. Source of water: Groundwater Waste water generation, treatment and 317 KLD sewage shall be generated disposal which will be treated through STP of capacity 350 KLD. The treated water Page 1 of 3 from the STP of quantity 124 KLD will be reused for Flushing, Green areas, car washing and fire water tanks. Rest treated water (upto secondary Treatment) 76 KLD will be discharge to municipal sewer line. Municipal solid waste generated disposal The quantity of municipal solid waste facility generated from the proposed residential apartment is estimated to be 1027 Kg/day. Greenbelt Development An area of 2590.78 Sq. M. (20.26%) area will be developed and maintained for greenbelt. Power requirement and source The source of energy for the proposed project will be from SBPDCL Total Electricity demand 8755.12 KW, Backup power supply-– 2 Nos. of DG Sets (500 KVA and 250 KVA will be installed.) Proposed energy saving practices 10-20% RWH 4 nos. of rain water harvesting pits have been proposed for augmentation of ground water. The rainwater collected from the rooftop will be conveyed into the rainwater harvesting system consisting of desilting-cum-filter chamber and bore wells for recharge into the Page 2 of 3 groundwater. RWH will be done only for the roof top. Car parking 13733.27 Sq. M. area is allocated for total Parking area. In which 13583.69 Sq. M. area has been provided as a Covered Parking (6566.93 Sq. M. in Lower Basement floor, 3724.82 Sq. M. in Basement floor and 3291.94 Sq. M. in Ground Floor) & 149.58 Sq. M. is Open Parking Space with Multilevel Parking Facility. Parking provisions has been made as per Modified Building By-laws, Bihar. Benefits of the project The main purpose and benefit of the project are as under: Increase the infrastructure of the area & will provide better living environment and will increase the livelihood of the people. The benefits relate to the direct employment associated during the construction of the infrastructure Additional employment opportunities will lead to a rise in the income and improve their standard of living. The proposed facility would also generate jobs for the labour during construction phase as well as during operation phase. Roy Burman, De­ puty Registrar General suggested to me the preparation of a monograph in the town series for the city of Patna. Colection of data for this work began in January, 1969. Since the grant available for collection of data was very tneagre, the work had to be suspended after a few lIlonths. The work was again taken up in January, 1971. This time the data was collected as far as possible from all the different sources. By the end of the year the draft was nearly ready. In February, 1972 the Registrar General's office deputed a photographper at my request to photo­ graph some of the landmarks in Patna for inclusion in the- directory. The draft was submitted to the Deputy Registrar General in April, 1972. Towards the end of that year some comments were received and discussions were held with Dr. Roy Burman when he visited the Institute early in 1973. At Dr. Roy Burman's suggestions a seminar was held to discuss the developmental needs of Patna in February, 1974 at which a large number of problems were discussed.
