From June 20-23, an intensive round of activities and practice races at Nürburgring concluded with the highly-anticipated 24 Hours race. For this year’s contest, Giti's vehicles were all fitted with GitiCompete GTR1 tires and covered with full Giti branding. Giti featured two Audi R8 vehicles in the race, both performing impressively in their SP8 class throughout 24 hours of intense conditions and competition. 13 Groundbreaking 'Giti's Angels' Team Wins at Nürburgring Throughout the nine-race high-profile VLN series held at Nürburgring this year, the Giti’s Angels 300 WV Golf VII GTI TCR car has performed very competitively. However – despite coming very close - during the season they had not been able to win first place in their highly competitive SP3T class. That all changed at the final VLN race of 2019. After four hours of racing, the team finished the turnaround to take the SP3T class championship, becoming the first-ever all female racing team to win its class in international motorsports competition.
