1 Welcome Message Dear Colleagues and Friends On behalf of division of Urology Rajavithi hospital, it gives me great pleasure and honor to welcome you to participate in the 4th minimal invasive surgery of urology to be held between 20 -22 June 2018 in Rajavithi hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. In this meeting, we will have the guest speakers come from Myanmar, Philippines, Laos, UK and Germany. The scientific program will focus on PCNL, URS, endoscopic surgery of prostate, laparoscopic nephrectomy and adrenalectomy and also have live demonstrations on Mini PCNL, supine PCNL, RIRS and TUAEP. On the third day we will have laparoscopic, endoscopic and urological nurse work shop that will provide the experience to the urology resident, young urologist and the nurses. I would like to thank Dr. Tanet Thaidumrong and his team for their tireless effort in putting together an exciting scientific program. An Annotated List of the Non-Marine Mollusca of Britain and Ireland
JOURNAL OF CONCHOLOGY (2005), VOL.38, NO .6 607 AN ANNOTATED LIST OF THE NON-MARINE MOLLUSCA OF BRITAIN AND IRELAND ROY ANDERSON1 Abstract An updated nomenclatural list of the non-marine Mollusca of the Britain and Ireland is provided. This updates all previous lists and revises nomenclature and classification in the context of recent changes and of new European lists, including the Clecom List. Cases are made for the usage of names in the List by means of annotations. The List will provide a basis for the future census and cataloguing of the fauna of Britain and Ireland. INTRODUCTION There has been a need for some time to modernise the list of non-marine Mollusca for Britain and Ireland, a subject last visited in this journal in 1976 (Waldén 1976; Kerney 1976). Many of the changes that have appeared in the literature since then are contentious and Kerney (1999) chose not to incorporate many of these into the latest atlas of non-marine Mollusca of Britain and Ireland. A new European List, the Clecom List (Falkner et al. 2001) has now appeared and it seems appropriate to examine in more detail constituent changes which might affect the British and Irish faunas. This is given additional urgency by the inception of a new census of the molluscs of Britain and Ireland by the Conchological Society. Recorders in the Society are aware of many of the proposed changes but unable to implement them without general agreement. In addition, many field malacologists make use of the recording package RECORDER, a recent form of which has been developed jointly by JNCC and the National Biodiversity Network in the United Kingdom. -

Chapter 6 The Expansion New Membership Recruitment Area of Thai Maternal and Child Health Network under the Royal Patronage 6 Thrathip Kolatat, Chantima Charastong At present, Thai Maternal and Child Health Network Board of Committee under the Royal Patronage has established project purposes that meet the principle objective, which is to lower the rate of preterm births. However, the board’s reexamination of the issue reveals the aforementioned strategy can be elevated to be policy-level strategy, the process of which includes setting up the clear strategic targets and public services, as well as considering the differences between service areas. It has also been suggested that personnel in those areas should be the ones coming up with action plans, to successfully reach the ultimate outcome1. Having studied the fundamental patterns of Thai Maternal and Child Health Network’s project management according to national context, the board has established an expansion model, which foresees the project expanding into various other areas, being carried out in a direction towards the expected outcome. Establishing a strategy map in each area begins with strengthening work forces in the provincial level. Since the public health system is directed by Office of Provincial Chief Medical Officer, which provides management and supports to community and district health promotion hospitals, not the general and regional hospitals. Thus, if there is to be an integration of both health promotion and treatment, an operational conference is essential. The conference would allow idea sharing and discussion between the multidisciplinary involved, namely obstetricians, pediatricians, general practitioners, registered nurses (from prenatal clinics, delivery rooms, emergency rooms, neonatal intensive care unit, neonatal wards and follow-up clinics, etc.), as well as public health technical officers, social medicine officers from community hospitals, general hospitals and regional hospitals. -

Abstract: The first minimally invasive pancreatic surgery was initiated 25 years ago. Currently, laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy is accepted as an alternative treatment to open surgery. However, there is still skepticism about the benefit of laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy. Minimally invasive pancreatic surgery in Thailand is in the beginning. The author has successfully developed the new technique of laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy which was performed in 35 patients at Rajavithi Hospital with satisfactory outcome. However, more effort is needed for further progression of minimally invasive pancreatic surgery in Thailand. Then my e-mail filled up with contributions; and what a diverse variety of mollusks (alien species, slug control). Many issues are linked contributions! Tentacle started out (in 1989) with a distinct to the threats faced by mollusks and there is no good reason to focus on Partulid tree snails—and the same illustration of one exclude them from a newsletter such as this. So I encourage still adorns the first page of this issue as it did that first issue. anyone with anything relevant to mollusc conservation, even That first issue also included articles on other Pacific island in a broad sense, to send me an article, however short. snails, on freshwater bivalves, and on marine mollusks. Tentacle continues to include sections on all these groups, but Don’t wait until I put out a request for new material (usually has expanded to include news of all kinds of mollusks and via the MOLLUSCA listserver). In Vietnam, 2 common lymnaeid species, Lymnaea swinhoei and Lymnaea viridis, can be recognized on the basis of mor- phology, and a third species, Lymnaea sp., is known to exist. Recent studies have raised controversy about their role in transmission of Fasciola spp. because of confusion in identification of the snail hosts. The aim of this study is, therefore, to clarify the identities of lymnaeid snails in Vietnam by a combination of morphological and molecular approaches. The molecular analyses using the second internal transcribed spacer (ITS2) of the nuclear ribosomal DNA clearly showed that lymnaeids in Vietnam include 3 species, Austropeplea viridis (morphologically identified as L.
