THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, BOROUGH OF SWALE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT No. 8B) ORDER 2013

The Council of the County of Kent in exercise of their powers under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby make the following Order:-

A - This Order may be cited as the Kent County Council (Various Roads, Borough of Swale) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Amendment 8B Order 2013 and shall come into force on the 17th day of February, 2014.

B. the Kent County Council (Various Roads, Borough of Swale) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2010 shall have effect as though -

In the Schedules to the Order

Leysdown Road, Leysdown

The following shall be inserted in Schedule 1 [no waiting at any time] in place of the existing entry:

LEYSDOWN ROAD (1) On the northern side from a point 35 metres east of the western kerb line of Warden Bay Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of 235 Leysdown Road.

(2) On the southern side

(a) from a point 2 metres east of the eastern boundary of 31 Leysdown Road, west to a point 3 metres east of the boundary of 37/39 Leysdown Road;

(b) from a point in line with the western building line of the Island Residential Home, 114 Leysdown Road, west to a point in line with the eastern boundary of 235 Leysdown Road.

LEYSDOWN ROAD LAY-BY (ADJ TO CEMETERY)

(1) On the northern side, for the full length of the lay-by

(2) On the southern side

(a) from the eastern junction with Leysdown Road, for a distance of 20 metres in a westerly direction;

(b) from the western junction with Leysdown Road, for a distance of 20 metres in an easterly direction.

Warden Bay Road, Leysdown

The following shall be inserted in Schedule 1 [no waiting at any time] in the correct alphabetical sequence:

WARDEN BAY ROAD On the north east side, from the junction with Leysdown Road to a point 29 metres north of the northern kerb line of Leysdown Road.

North Road, Queenborough

NORTH ROAD (1) On the eastern and northern sides

(a) from the junction with Well Road for a distance of 12 metres in a northerly direction;

(b) from a point in line with the boundary of 30/32 North Road to a point opposite the boundary of 3/4 Sea View Terrace;

(b) from the western boundary of 5 Mill Cottages for a distance of 105 metres in a westerly direction.
