PEFC/07-32-76 www.pefc.org REPORT POLAND DRIVES EMOBILITY
Dear Readers,
the last 12 months have brought dynamic changes in the automotive sector. Despite initial fears, 2020 is in many ways unique for the electromobility market - sales of electric cars have reached historic peaks in many countries. In 2020 we have observed a significant increase in the number of electric cars, charging stations and electric buses in the Polish electromobility sector. It is also a time of new investments and strengthening Poland's position in the battery segment.
However, one can always ask the question - could we do more to accelerate development and create better conditions for the electromobility sector? The Polish government says – yes. That is why we work with companies, local governments and NGOs to improve the regulatory framework and create eective subsidy systems for purchasing electric cars.
Problems are opportunities in disguise – Poland has made good use of the last 12 months. I believe that next months are the time of further development of the Polish electromobility sector.
