HAARLEM, February 10, 2015 ‐‐ With the engagement to be the main sponsor of the ANKOSLink event, which will take place in the Kervansaray Convention Center in Lara‐, from April 9 to 11, 2015, Researchsoftware.com underlines the importance to be in close contact with the members of the Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS) and to be dedicated in providing Turkish universities, Turkish Research institutions and students with the best possible software technology in research.

Currently, almost 40 Turkish universities, including the largest seven ( University, , Selçuk University, , University, Karadeniz Teknik University, Atatürk University), have already subscribed to the ANKOS Consortium EndNote (Online) Site License Agreement which is especially designed for the ANKOS member institutions. To encourage universities and institutions in Turkey to join this Site License Agreement, Researchsoftware.com is organizing EndNote (Online) seminars at universities all over the country.

About ANKOS The Anatolian University Libraries Consortium (ANKOS) was first established in the year 2000 with 12 member libraries and three database subscription services. Today, the ANKOS consortium, a large community of nearly 50 volunteers, with more than 1.500 Agreements in place, is currently offering 83 tastes of Online databases and tools from over 60 Publishers to Universities, Vocational Colleges, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Research Institutions, Police and Teaching Academia, the Turkish and Hospital (GATA), Academic Medical Centers (Istanbul Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Şişli Etfal Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi), Ministries and Governmental Institutions, The National Library of Turkey, The National Bank of Turkey and the Turkish Atomic Energy Foundation. As a result, faculty members at 171 universities across Turkey as well as staff of research and other institutions now have access to bibliographic tools and full‐text databases in the fields of science, mathematics, social , humanities, , agriculture, business, , informatics & computing and engineering.

ANKOS takes its place alongside the world’s library consortia as a member of the International Coalition of Library Consortia (ICOLC), the Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition (SPARC), the Southern European Libraries Link (SELL), and the international initiative COUNTER (Counting Online Usage of Networked Electronic Resources). The consortium holds an Annual Meeting, ANKOSLink, where all members of ANKOS and firms are encouraged to attend.
