The Saints are currently tied for Nov. 8 at Harvard* W, 3-1 ninth with Harvard, but have the tiebreaker with the Crimson on the basis of a win Nov. 9 at Dartmouth* W, 8-5 and a tie in head to head play. The Saints are 3-2-1 in their last five and 2-1-1 in their last four on the road. The Saints lost to RPI 4-3 and upended Union 2-1 in games at Appleton Arena Nov. 23 at RIT L, 6-4 earlier this season and will be looking for their first win at RPI since a 2-0 decision in Nov. 29 at North Dakota W, 5-2 2009. The Saints are 0-2-1 in their last three at RPI. The last Saint win at Union was Nov. 30 at North Dakota L, 3-2 also in 2009 when the Saints swept the season series. Union had won eight of the Dec. 6 at Clarkson* L, 5-4 last nine prior to the earlier Saint win at Appleton. Dec. 7 CLARKSON* L, 4-3 Dec. 14 at Vermont L, 5-1 THE SAINT STAFF: Greg Carvel is in his second season as Saint head coach after Jan. 7 VERMONT L, 4-2 posting one of the best records for a first-year coach in program history a year ago. Carvel was named the second Charles W. Appleton II Head Men’s Hockey Coach in the spring of 2012. He is the 13th head coach in program history.
