The Saints bounced back the next night to win 6-3 and have a 1-1 all-time record in Frank Ritter Arena. The Saints won four straight in the series from 2006-07 through 2009-10 with RIT taking a 6-5 deicision at the Blue Cross Arena in overtime in 2011-12. The two teams split at Appleton last year, each winning 4-3 games with the Saint win the 1,000th in SLU program history. The Saints lead the series 8-3-0 with a 6-1-0 record at home, a 1-1-0 record at Ritter and a 1-1-0 record at neutral sites. BROTHER ACTS: The arrival of Matt Carey gives the Saints a brother act in the lineup for the ninth straight season and bodes well for older brother Greg.
