Intake / Eligibility / Admission process / Selection process : Candidate is requested to refer the schoolwise instruction handout for respective program’s intake, eligibility, admission process, selection process of 2021 Batch. 3. Online registration process & Registration fees : 3.1 Online Registration process Candidate needs to visit www.nmims.edu/www.npat.in for online registration. ( to be changed as per the Marketing landing pages) Candidates are requested to keep 10th roll no. / seat no. ready for initial registration. It is mandatory to give 10th roll no. / seat no. for registration. Please go through the handouts of the specific programs for eligibility and selection process. First the candidate has to register and will get the registrartion ID on their mentioned email id. Based on the selection of the School/ Program candidates have to register for the following test categories among NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT – 2021. Candidates can select multiple Schools and multiple campuses. Three examination dates are available to each candidate. Candidate can opt maximum 2 attempts for any category. The registration fees is based on the number of Schools selected for each test category. Test Centers are allotted on first cum first serve basis only. After the successful registration; the candidate will get options to choose the examination date/s (i.e. 27th June, 2nd July & 4th July 2021) for NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT test center based online test. The examination for each test category will be held on separate dates. For eg : If a Candidate has opted for BTech and BBA Programs, then he/she will appear for NMIMS-CET on one day and NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT on another date. Examination date once chosen cannot be altered after successful completion of registration and payment. Candidates can choose different test centers for each examination date as per the availability of seats. Candidates who have attended test in same (NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT) category on any days, highest scores in same (NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-NLAT) category will be considered for merit list as per choice of school & preferences given. If there are multiple / duplicate registrations, then registration for NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT will not be considered & registration fee will be forfeited. Candidates who have registered and paid will be considered for further selection process or merit list. Registration Fees is NON-REFUNDABLE. 3.2 Online Registration Fees: For NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT (Please refer online registration for payment details) Registration Fees is NON-REFUNDABLE. Photos should be only in JPEG format, and dimensions should be 200 pixels tall and 150 pixels wide. Size should not exceed 200 kb. Photo should have either white or lightly colored background. Eyes should be open and clearly visible. Photo should have candidates face distinctly visible, straight and at the Centre. Shoulder tops should be also clear on the photo. Photographs should not be more than 6 months old. The NMIMS decision in this regards will be final. 6 Admit Card All eligible candidates who are registered & paid the required registration fees successfully will be called for the online test. On the basis of information indicated in the Application Form, admit card for the Admission Test & the venue will be made available to the candidate as per important dates. Candidates are required to download the admit card with same log in Id and password used at the time of online registration. No candidate, without admit card or without the photograph on the admit card will be permitted to appear for the test. Candidate must carry any one requisite original ID proof along with photocopy of the same while appearing for NMIMS CET / NMIMS NPAT / NMIMS-LAT – 2021. List of ID proof 1. Voters ID 2. Passport 3. Structure of the Test – NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT – 2021 The NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT – 2021 test would be an objective type multiple- choice test. (There will be NO descriptive type of questions & NO negative marking). NMIMS CET Exam structure: (For Engineering & Pharmacy) Exam is based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology of 10+2 curriculum. The district is inhabited by 40% of tribal population, habitually with their discrete way of life, customs, dialects and cultural tradition. These tribal exploit local food and vegetable plants for various diseases among themselves through the experiences. Women’s specifically know the ethnomedicinal values in traditionally used plants. Much of this wealth is preserved as an unwritten material medico of the tribal folk. Many tribal beliefs prevent them to unknot the intrinsic worth of the plants to outside world. But, it is observed that very less concrete work had been done to document this knowledge by various means. So the purpose of this study is to document the unwritten knowledge related to traditional uses of medicinal plants for curing infant diseases. The uses of 32 plants employed for curing infant diseases among the tribes of Shirpur Tahsil of Dhule district is reported. Patel Women’s College of Pharmacy, Shirpur, Dhule, Maharashtra. *Correspondent author, E-mail: [email protected] Issued 01 December 2008 ABSTRACT An ethnobotanical study was conducted from January 2006 to October 2008 to investigate the uses of medicinal plants for oral health care by different aborigines, such as Bhills, Gavits, Kokanis, Mavachis, Valvis, Pawras, Koknas and Vasaves, in the Nandurbar district of Maharashtra, India. Data were collected by interviewing native people, mainly elderly – engaged in farming and stock rising activities, housewives and local traditional medicinemen of different villages. The investigation revealed that a total 20 claims were obtained as distributed in 18 genera belonging to 14 families to treat various diseases and disorders of oral cavity, particularly in tooth decay. Information about local names, plant parts and different form of preparation used were recorded and are focused in given issue. In this study most commonly used family was Euphorbiaceae followed by Moraceae, Anacardiaceae, Fabaceae, Asteraceae, Acanthaceae, Meliaceae, Asclepiadaceae, Poaceae, Lythraceae, Sapotaceae, Cucurbitaceae, Rutaceae and Solanaceae. Present study indicated many tribal communities of visited villages of Nandurbar district still continue to depend on plant resources to meet their day-to-day needs and use plant based formulations from generation to generation for treatment of health related problems.
