Further dates are also likely. This pack covers the works taking place at weekends during June and July. Sunday travel arrangements posters will be displayed at stations in poster boards throughout the work. • Buses should be fully accessible for wheelchair users. If there are any problems passengers should contact the special assist team on 0800 092 4260 • Passengers should check the calling points on the front of buses before boarding. This is particularly important where buses are using a single stop for both directions. • If there are ticket purchasing facilities, passengers must buy a rail ticket before boarding replacement buses • Replacement buses are unable to carry heavy luggage, bicycles, prams or animals (other than registered assistance dogs) • Replacement buses will add a significant amount of time to journeys, so passengers should allow plenty of time. 6 Alternative routes During these works, tickets will also be accepted on some other London Midland routes. • Passengers coming from Stafford may wish to travel via Penkridge. • Passengers coming from Rugeley, Hednesford or Cannock may wish to travel via Lichfield Trent Valley. We have not advertised these alternative arrangements in order to control passenger numbers on these already busy routes, but conductors will allow valid tickets to be used.
