In 2018, Hyde guided the Seminoles to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time in the history of the program. After an earlier than hoped exit in the second round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament, the Seminoles rose to No. 2 in the rankings in a COVID-shortened 2020 season. It was the highest ranking in the history of the program. This season, FSU has spent every week ranked in the Top 10 and posted a program-best ACC mark of 11-2. On top of that, Hyde has guided FSU into the NCAA Quarterfinals for the second time in the last three opportunities. Her Seminoles have now been ranked in the top 10 of 21 straight polls.
