With sex on the brain, they are in for way more than they bargained as the Mask invokes an ancient evil – Kalunga, the Lord of the Underworld. Things take a bad turn when their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and the couple is attacked. Fleeing through the dense woods, they seek shelter in the remote home of Mia who is hosting a weekend party with her friends. Soon they are all besieged by Kalunga, the man of Nightmares. However, the real horror comes when Ellen finally understands that they have unleashed the Underworld on everyone living!

Long Synopsis (by Rolfe Kanefsky)

After receiving a mysterious demonic African mask in the mail, ELLEN MORRIS is attacked by a “being” she refers to as some type of NIGHMARE MAN. Her doctors and husband, WILLIAM believe ELLEN is a paranoid schizophrenic and needs to spend some quality time at a mental facility for further examination.

On the way to the hospital, their car runs out of gas. WILLIAM walks to the nearest gas station as ELLEN waits in the car while the sun sets. Alone once again, ELLEN is attacked by the mysterious being and runs off into the nearby woods but is this MAN/DEMON real or is it all in ELLEN’s mind?

Fleeing for her life, ELLEN stumbles upon a country house where TWO YOUNG COUPLES are vacationing for the weekend. ELLEN barely escapes death by running into their house, claiming there’s a killer outside! The couples call WILLIAM’s cell – he answers having arrived back at the car with the can of gas. He warns them of ELLEN’s condition and tells them to be careful. “She may be dangerous to herself and others.”

The YOUNG COUPLES are now faced with some major questions. Is the threat outside or is it inside with them already? Is ELLEN telling the truth or is she a potential killer? Is the killer a man, woman, or something supernatural? And then the real terror begins!

LORD OF NIGHTMARES- is a surprising horror thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end. When the sun goes down, HE comes out to play!
