Abstract The greenhouse is an agricultural structure which provides the necessary growth factors for plant production and enables the mechanization of the crops. Greenhouse cultivation is one of the most important income generating branches of agriculture. Nowadays, computer software’s are used for anything as it is being used for planning greenhouses, more robust construction and economical results are obtained this way. Business owners, investing their money in greenhouses, are copying the structural features of existing greenhouses with all wrong calculated parameters and errors. Leaving their valuable cash and future of their investment in the hands of an iron-smith. As a result, the greenhouses which are built without static and strength calculations, more materials are used, or insecure constructions are being applied. When an economic loss occurs depending on structural damage, it will unavoidably lead to economic losses for farmers and implicitly for the country. This study, emphasizes the structural Analysis of a one-span glass covered gable-roofed greenhouse, having an area of 720 m2 located in Antalya province.

GENTA ise kurulduğu 1989 yılından itibaren yüzde 100 Türk sermayesi ile üreticilerin gereksi- nim duyduğu ve VAT tarafından karşılanamayan ürünler konusunda faaliyet göstermiş ve gös- termektedir. Sermaye yapıları değişmesine karşın ortak irade ile her iki şirket günümüzde de 2007’den önce olduğu gibi tam bir sinerji ve uyum içinde faaliyetlerini sürdürmekte ve güçlerini paylaşmaktadır- lar.

    Original research A Review of Bioclimatic Comfort Areas Determined by the New Summer Index in Terms of Tourism in Antalya Mustafa Cihat SANCAR*, , Şenay GÜNGÖR Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi, Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi, Coğrafya Bölümü, Nevşehir-Türkiye *Corresponding author e-mail: [email protected] Abstract: Many methods have been used to determine the comfort situation of an environment by using the parameters that make up the climate conditions. It is aimed to determine bioclimatic comfort areas by using climate parameters obtained from 31 meteorological stations in Antalya. In this study, which is based on Geographical Information Systems, raster data was produced from spatial interpolation techniques primarily from point data. From the data obtained, new Summer Index values were generated in the GIS environment. According to the New Summer Index classification scheme in June, July and August in Antalya province, there are 5 classes of 1st Generation, 2nd Generation, 3rd Generation, 4th Generation and 5th Generation. Along the coastline in Antalya Province; 3 generations, 4 generations and 5 generations dominated in the mentioned months; Elevation increases in Elmali, Korkuteli, Ibradi, Akseki and Gundogmus districts 1 Generation and 2 Generation climate conditions are dominant. Besides, SSI values around Alanya district, Serik district, Antalya city center and surroundings, Kemer district and surroundings have always been higher compared to other areas. On the other hand, it was observed that SSI values were lower among the settlements along the coastline of Kaş, Kalkan, Demre and Kumluca districts.     View metadata, citation and similar papers at core.ac.uk brought to you by CORE provided by Epoka University AN ANALYSIS OF TURKEY REGARDING THE DECENTRALIZATION AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT REFORM Ozan Zengin* Abstract: In the post-80s, within the context of liberalization and globalization a reform on the local governments was called for all around the world. In line with this trend, reforms were put into practice in Turkey. However, these reforms were not systematically implemented up to 2000s. After the Justice and Development Party came to power, local governments were financially and administratively strengthened. Local governments have begun to come to the fore within the administrative structure in terms of authority, duties and responsibilities. In the last decade they have been the driving force of the economic production being in harmony with the market. Apart from this general picture of transformation, the government has carried out two important policies. The first one is the closure of minor local government units (municipalities and villages). The second policy is the enlargement of the borders of metropolitan and provincial municipalities. In many settlements, the process of enlargement has been implemented to include the first policy. At the end of the year 2012, a law which epitomized these decade-long reforms on local governments was passed and with this law the outline of this reform process was drawn and concretized. This paper aims at briefly explaining the mentioned reform process and evaluating it from different perspectives.     SEAWATER INTRUSION IN COASTAL AQUIFERS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN COAST OF TURKEY Gültekin Günay ABSTRACT Turkey has a coastal line of 1200 km along the Mediterranean Sea. At the coastal plains which are situated in the east-west direction along this coastal line seawater intrusion is observed. Among the coastal plains situated along .the Mediterranean, Dörtyol-Erzin, Mersin-Berdan and Efrenk plains, Silifke-Ovacık plain, Içel-Gilindire plain, Gazipa,sa plain, Finike-Kumluca plain and Demre plain, located from the east to the west, respectively, are the ones at which the problem of salinity is most frequently observed. In this article, the geo - graphical and socio-economic features of the mentioned plains, general problems in the coastal aquifers and the geology and hydrogeology of these plains are studied separately and the maps and cross-sections of the plains are presented. PLAN KARARLARI 1 1 PLANLAMA ALANININ GENEL ÖZELLİKLERİ 1.1 Planlama Alanının Ülke ve Bölgedeki Yeri Antalya İli, Anadolu yarımadasının güneybatısında, Akdeniz bölgesinin batı bölümünden İçel iline kadar kıyı uzunluğu 640 km. olmak üzere denize paralel olarak, lineer biçimde uzanmaktadır. İlin kara sınırlarını Toros Dağları oluşturmaktadır. İl batıdan doğuya doğru Muğla, Burdur, Isparta, Konya ve Mersin illeri ile güneyde ise Akdeniz ile sınırlanmaktadır. Planlama alanı Antalya’nın 19 ilçesinden biri olan Kumluca İlçesi sınırlarında kalmaktadır.(Şekil 1) Şekil 1. Planlama alanının Ülke İçindeki Yeri Antalya İli, istatiksel bölge birimleri sınıflandırmasına göre TR6 Akdeniz Bölgesi, TR61 Batı Akdeniz Planlama Alt Bölgesinde (Antalya, Isparta, Burdur) yer almaktadır.(Şekil 2) Şekil 2. Antalya İlinin İstatistiki Bölge Sınıflamasına Göre Konumu 2 Kumluca ilçesi, Antalya’nın ilçelerinden doğuda Kemer ve Konyaaltı, kuzeyde Korkuteli, batıda da Elmalı ve Finike ilçeleriyle komşudur ve güneyiyle Antalya’nın Akdeniz’e kıyısı olan ilçelerindendir.

So, the necessity of making agricultural insurance throughout the province is of great importance. In this study; how the plant production structures in Antalya province were affected by the natural disasters such as hail, torrential rain, storm or hurricane, tornedo and fire; what extent they were able to withstand these climatic disasters or how they were harmed by these events was determined. The number of damaged plant production structures, their structural features, how they are damaged, whether these structures are covered by agriculture and / or private insurance, and how much they benefit from this insurance were determined, also.
