[email protected] Responsible Official: District Ranger Terry Miller Abstract The Chandler Round Project is located in the Towns of Chatham and Jackson, Carroll County, New Hampshire. The project lies in the center portion of the Slippery Brook drainage, and in the headwaters of McDonough Brook, a tributary to Little Cold River. Slippery Brook is the primary drainage for the analysis area. Other small tributaries within the project area are unnamed. Chandler Round project area contains approximately 976 acres of proposed treatments within the 8375 acre HMU 505. The analysis area contains MAs 3.1, 6.1, and 6.2, as identified in the White Mountain National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan. This includes approximately 5,691 acres of MA 3.1. "No Action", Alternative 1, does not propose active management within the project area.
