Peter was on the club’s Committee for over 50 years, 30 of those years as Secretary. He recently received the Gold Badge and Certificate for 50 years of service to his club, one of the first in the CIU movement to receive such a prestigious honour. Not only will he be missed by the club members but also by the Northumberland Branch, in particular the No.7 Division. Andy Chambers, Committee Member at West Moor Social Club, Northumberland Branch, received his Long Service Award on April 26 at a presentation held at the club.
