Peter Coleman receives Distinguished Service Award OBITUARY Stuart Barnes It is with great sadness that The Leigh Park Trade Union & Working Men’s Club have to announce the sad passing of our Club Secretary Charles Stuart Barnes, known to all as Stuart. He passed away suddenly in June from a heart attack. Stuart was a long serving club member before joining the Committee and he was the only member to achieve the status of holding all four officer positions: President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. Stuart was a kind-hearted gentle man who always had a smile on his face and had time for everyone no matter what their needs. His smile and kind nature will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
