This event was also attended by the current Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine, Archbishop Claudio Gugerotti, bishops of the Ukrainian-Greek Catholic Church, Roman Catholic bishops, clergy, religious and the faithful, who flooded the cathedral to its full capacity. Along with Bishop Paul the ordination was attended by other clergy of the Eparchy of Stamford, Very Rev. Roman Sydorovych, Very Rev. Olvian Popovicci, and Rev. Ivan Tykhovych. Bishop Stepan Sus is well known in the Eparchy mainly because of his many visits throughout the years to Stamford. He is a good friend of Bishop Paul and considers him to be his Spiritual Father.
