The tourism industry has the potential for creating employment and the income. For many countries tourism is an important source of welfare, and is one of the sectors that affect the opportunities for local development. The ability of local development to get benefit from tourism depends on the availability of attractive factors, and the ability to provide a tourist supply that meets the needs of tourists. Gjakova has a tourist potential for the development of winter - sport tourism, cultural tourism, hunting and fishing, health tourism, weekend tourism, transit tourism, business tourism, gastronomic tourism, etc.The purpose of this paper is to present the tourist resources, and the impact of tourism on local development. Paper treats why Gjakova is an attractive country to visit by tourists and who are the possibilities to invest for tourism development. Contribution to the Herpetofauna of Serbia - Distribution of Reptiles in Kosovo and Metohija Province

Original Scientific Paper CONTRIBUTION TO THE HERPETOFAUNA OF SERBIA - DISTRIBUTION OF REPTILES IN KOSOVO AND METOHIJA PROVINCE LJILJANA TOMOVIĆ1*, MAGDALENA TIMOTIJEVIĆ2, RASTKO AJTIĆ3, IMRE KRIZMANIĆ1, NENAD LABUS2 1Institute of Zoology, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia 2Faculty of Science and Mathematics, University of Priština, Kosovska Mitrovica, Serbia 3Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, Belgrade, Serbia ABSTRACT Kosovo and Metohija have already been recognized as regions with the highest diversity of reptiles in Serbia, where 92% (22 of 24) of existing reptile species can be found (Tomović et al., 2015a). First comprehensive contribution to herpetofauna of Kosovo and Metohija was provided by late Professor Gojko Pasuljević. In this study we present a complete dataset of distribution records for 13 most common reptile species in Kosovo and Metohija, including published and new distribution data compiled, and provide standardized 10 x 10 km UTM maps for these data. Results of this study include 1013 distribution records (278 new and 735 published data) for the following reptiles: Testudo hermanni, Ablepharus kitaibelii, Anguis fragilis, Lacerta agilis, Lacerta viridis, Podarcis muralis, Podarcis tauricus, Coronella austriaca, Dolichophis caspius, Natrix natrix, Natrix tessellata, Zamenis longissimus and Vipera ammodytes. The most widely distributed species, which occupy more than 50 UTM 10 x 10 km squares are: Podarcis muralis and Vipera ammodytes. Species with limited distribution which occupy less than 20 UTM 10 x 10 km are: Dolichophis caspius and Lacerta agilis. The largest numbers of new or confirmed literature data are recorded for: Anguis fragilis, Testudo hermanni and Vipera ammodytes. -

Abstract Detailed distribution pattern of colubrid snakes in Serbia is still inadequately described, despite the long historical study. In this paper, we provide accurate distribution of seven species, with previously published and newly accumulated faunistic records compiled. Comparative analysis of faunas among all Balkan countries showed that Serbian colubrid fauna is among the most distinct (together with faunas of Slovenia and Romania), due to small number of species. Zoogeographic analysis showed high chorotype diversity of Serbian colubrids: seven species belong to six chorotypes. South-eastern Serbia (Pčinja River valley) is characterized by the presence of all colubrid species inhabiting our country, and deserves the highest conservation status at the national level. -

During this time, KLGI has successfully completed evaluative, research and training programs. KLGI’s main reference point has been both the lawmaking and politics of local government and also the institutional and executive powers. KLGI is actively seeking ways and means to intervene through efforts that strengthens local government. As mentioned above, LGA will gradually offer through training models a way to facilitate speeches, discussions, group works and a platform for the exchange of experiences and information. Initially LGA will focus on elaborating and clarifying the local governance concept in the region and Europe. This will help the participants of the project to invest on the concept of local governance. LGA will offer the opportunity to compare the various models of local governments from the proven democracies of the region. This kind of training makes it possible to discuss and analyse the properties, values of these models which could be than applied to the model of local governance in Kosovo. LGA will constructively criticise and deal with the treatment, interpretation and analysing of the politics and laws that regulate the local government in Kosovo. As a result, the participants of this training, being an important level of government against the central government, will have a chance to protect, promote and advance this level of government. -

Original Scientific Paper CONTEMPORARY CHANGES IN THE ETHNIC STRUCTURE OF THE POPULATION IN THE AUTONOMOUS PROVINCE OF KOSOVO AND METOHIJA SAŠA MILOSAVLJEVIĆ1, JOVO MEDOJEVIĆ1 1Faculty of Sciences, University in Priština – Kosovska Mtrovica, Kosovska Mtrovica, Serbia ABSTRACT Twenty years (1999 - 2019) after the end of the conflict in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, it can be stated that nowhere in Europe is there such ethnic segregation of the population as is the case with the AP of Kosovo and Metohija. Following the withdrawal of pumped security forces from the entire territory of Kosovo and Metohija and the entry of the United Nations peacekeeping force into the Serbian Autonomous Province, Kosovo Albanians carried out their persecution from Kosovo through terrorist attacks on Serbs and other non- Albanian populations (Montenegrins, Gorans, Roma, Ashkali) carried out their persecution from Kosovo and Metohija and fundamentally changed the ethnic structure of the Province. An insight into the majority of 223.081 exiles and displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija indicates an exodus against the Serbs. The number of displaced Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians is estimated at about 100.000. The mass persecution of the Serb and other non-Albanian populations has resulted in tremendous changes in the ethnic structure of the Province, which today, with 93% of the total population, is dominated by Albanians, while other ethnic communities have a participation of 7%. Article 2 Definitions 1. Terms used in this Law shall have the following meanings: 1.1. Appointment Process - the comprehensive, Kosovo-wide review of the suitability of all applicants for permanent appointments, until the retirement age determined by Law, as judges and prosecutors in Kosovo, carried out in accordance with UNMIK Administrative Direction 2008/02 and Article 150 of the Constitution. 1.2. Basic Court - the court of first instance comprised of seven geographic areas as established by this Law. 1.3. Branch - a geographical subdivision of a Basic Court. 1.4. Court of Appeals - the court of second instance as established by this Law. 1.5. Department - a subcomponent of a court established by this Law for purposes of assigning cases according to subject matter in order to increase the efficiency of the courts. 1.6.
