  • Spatial Memorializing of Atrocity in 1857
Henderson.SpatialMemories.Draft. 1 ---- D R A F T --- Spatial Memorializing of Atrocity in 1857: Memories, Traces, and Silences in Ethnography 1 Carol E. Henderson Department of Sociology and Anthropology Rutgers University, Newark Newark NJ 07103 [email protected] [email protected] Paper Prepared for the Conference “Mutiny at the Margins: New Perspectives on the Indian Uprising of 1857,” Edinburgh University, 23 rd -26 th July 2007.
