Knowledge is not intelligence. In searching for the truth be ready for the unexpected. Change alone is unchanging. The same road goes both up and down. The beginning of a circle is also its end. Not I, but the world says it: all is one. And yet everything comes in season” Heraclitus of Ephesus 5th Century B.C. “We can only become truly great, If, possibly inimitably, We imitate The Ancients” Johann Joachim Winckelmann (1717-1768) 5/32 6 “If a man’s wit be wandering, let him study the Mathematics” Francis Bacon (1561-1626) “It is believed that the early Greeks obtained some knowledge of astronomy from the Chaldeans, who appear to have been the first systematic observers of the heavenly bodies by means of instruments, and who are said to have discovered the cycle of eighteen years and ten days after which the sun and moon return to the same relative positions as seen from the earth. The Egyptians perhaps derived their knowledge from the same source, but there is no proof that they were great observers, and the accurate orientation, proportions, and angles of the Great Pyramid and its inner passages may perhaps indicate a Chaldean Architect” Alfred Russel Wallace (1823 – 1913) in ‘Man’s Place in the Universe’ (1903) "Who is Man, and what his place? Anxious asks the heart, perplext In this recklessness of space, Worlds with worlds thus intermixt: What has he, this atom creature, In the infinitude of Nature?" Francis Turner Palgrave (1824-1897) 7 “““All of Nature – mountains, rivers, trees, crystals, metals, all living beings, even human beings – is nothing other than numbers incarnated. If you study this question in depth, you will find that nothing exists apart from numbers. Everything is number; Nature and the whole Universe are built upon numbers, which form an indestructible, geometric framework similar to the skeleton. So mathematics is abstract only at the level of principles; in the created world it takes on flesh and bone. For the moment, mathematicians work without knowing how the results of their calculations correspond to reality. One day, they will discover that all the physical, psychic and cosmic processes are there, all explained by numbers and their different combinations. ””” Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov 19 21 32 1 3 5 9/27 Sombrero Galaxy as seen by the Hubble Space Telescope Name: NGC 4594 (= 33) at 30.9 million lightyears distance SUN 365 14 = 5/14 8 CONTENT = 33 ‘E Pluribus, Unum --- Out of Many, One’ = 33 PREFACE Key Prouncements of the Past One COMMON WISDOM as all Life is One, the World should come together as One Two EVERYTHING IS NUMBER nothing is ever complete and two things are never the same Three CHANCE IS NOT! many ‘human things’ come in three’s Four SPINOZA AND THE COSMOS fate and destiny, the numbers 4 and 8, bound inseparably together Five THE CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS IN THE WORLD as appearances betray, Eyesight should learn from Reason, the 5 Six THE DARK SIDE OF THE COSMIC COIN there are stunning examples of perfection recently Seven TURNING THE COSMIC COIN ONCE MORE SUNNY SIDE UP the United Nations of the World are in urgent need of more spirituality Eight THE NUMBER NINE the number nine, cosmic servant of Heaven and Earth Nine DEALISM21: AN APPROPRIATE NEW PHILOSOPHY FOR THE 21st CENTURY?! and new philosophy calls all in doubt Zero CONCLUDING STATEMENTS The 21 that we all amount to in the cosmic sense 9 PREFACE In Philosophy, empiricism is a theory of knowledge that asserts that knowledge arises from evidence gathered via sense experience. Empiricism is one of several competing views that predominate in the study of human knowledge, known as epistemology. Empiricism emphasizes the role of experience and evidence, especially sensory perception, in the formation of ideas, over the notion of innate ideas or tradition. In a related sense, empiricism in the philosophy of science emphasizes those aspects of scientific knowledge that are closely related to evidence , especially as discovered in experiments. It is a fundamental part of the scientific method that all hypotheses and theories must be tested against observations of the natural world , rather than resting solely on a priori reasoning, intuition, or revelation. Hence, science is considered to be methodologically empirical in nature. (Wikipedia, 2010) The content of this treatise is based, in addition to my own thinking, on the Kabbalah methodology of numerology according to the ancient Chaldeans, a Semitic people of Arabic origin living in southern Babylonia in the early part of the 1 st Millennium B.C., using the letter-number conversion table below. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 A B C D E U O F I K G M H V Z P J R L T N W Q S X Y For a good understanding of the content of the treatise, the methodology for creating ‘cosmic numbers’ out of a name and birth date is exemplified as follows : PYTHAGORAS OF SAMOS 8145137213 78 31473 Summed by component 35 15 18 8 6 9 = for the single cosmic number: 8+6+9 = 23 = ‘5’ And for the compound cosmic number: 35+6+9 = 50 = by convention -in order to accommodate also the longer names- a ‘32’ Thus Pythagoras of Samos is by his name a ‘5/32’, called ‘Communication’. Pythagoras’ birth date is given as ‘around’ 569 B.C. Let’s make it happen on 4 March of that year to establish his cosmic birth number: 04-03-569 = summed up 27 This provides the great mathematician and first philosopher in history with a cosmic birth number ‘9/27’, called ‘The Sceptre’, which he clearly was! The combination of name and birth numbers ‘5/32’ and ‘9/27’ make Pythagoras a ‘5/41’ which by numerology convention, applying the so-called 9-rule, is once more a ‘5/32’. Humankind will never know what Pythagoras’ true ‘cosmic nature’ was, apart from the fact that ‘Pythagoras’ and ‘cosmic nature’ are each other’s numerological equivalent, as, true to his character emphasizing secrecy, his birth date is unknown! For what follows in this manuscript, I owe a great deal to the late Linda Goodman whose book “Sun Signs ” ‘The Secret Codes of the Cosmos ’ came to me in a most mysterious way on 6 March 1989. 10 KEY PRONOUNCEMENTS OF THE PAST Man is......related inextricably to all reality, known and unknowable.....plankton, shimmering phosphorescence on the sea and the spinning planets and an expanding universe, all bound together by the elastic string of time. Illusions was the author's followup to 's Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Illusions revolves around two barnstorming pilots who meet in a field in the Midwestern United States. The two main characters enter into a teacher-student relationship that explains the concept that the world that we inhabit is illusory, as well as the underlying reality behind it:. What if a Siddhartha came to our time, with power over the illusions of the world because he knew the reality behind them? And what if I could meet him in person, if he was flying a biplane, for instance, The Book of Illusions landed in the same meadow with me? Donald William Shimoda is a messiah who quits his job after deciding that people value the showbiz-like performance of miracles and want to be entertained by those miracles more than to understand the message behind them. He meets Richard, a fellow barn-storming pilot. Both are in the business of providing short rides--for a few dollars each--in vintage biplanes to passengers The Book of Illusions farmers' fields they find during their travels. Donald initially captures Richard's attention when a grandfather and granddaughter pair arrive at the makeshift airstrip. Ordinarily it is elders who are cautious and the youngsters who are keen to fly.
